edit for 2024: Kenshi is still one of my favorite games of all time all of these years later. Right up there with Rimworld. I am still super excited for Kenshi's sequel and I can not wait. This is one of those games I am grateful to of been apart of since it's humble beginnings. I have had dreams because of this game's stories and the stories I create in it. It's nice. There's also roughly a billion mods [maybe not a billion, but an absolute f*ckton, over 9,000 actually.] for this game and it's easy enough to mod yourself if you think the game is too hard or would like something different. I recommend the World Mechanic Mod by Badgerhands [or my edited version which changes some of the stats and makes it compatible with some other mods], Project Kathum [a whole ass SW Mod which changes practically everything], HeroinAction's Sandbox Training & miniature resource buildings [sandbox varient], or any mod by IdeaDork like their processor unit, type 389, the sailbacks, their hazards unit. There's also whole ass animation overhauls like Military Craft by SprendiX, More Combat Animations by AGO. Want more food or were sad you were unable to drink the alchohol? Well be sad no more because there's a mod that fixes that! Heck there's even custom races too along with many more mods to change the game to your hearts content! If you love RPGs and have NEVER played Kenshi? You are missing out on one of the best indie RPG's of all time.

Edit for 2022: This is still by far a masterpiece. I am so happy they're making a SECOND ONE WHICH WAS SET 1,000 YEARS BEFORE THIS ONE! SO YE. I CAN'T WAIT TO EXPLORE MORE OF THE LORREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

But seriously, this game is by far one of my favorite games and in my top 10 list since it went to 1.0. Hell, even back when I first supported it on Devorua [Devurna?] [or however you spell it]. Anyway, it was like indiegogo / kickstarter before those were a thing and I backed it then in 2013 and ye. There's even a FREE DEMO on their website @ http://lofigames.com/

Original 2016 review: I absolutely love this game. I've been following the development of Kenshi for a few years [since 2013] now. This is truly a hidden gem. It all started out with one man with a dream and ambition and it turned into a small team with even greater potenial. This proves that you can do anything if you work hard and strive for it!
