Not until the Vatican can dive hell again

I love this take on chess, I have played a few before like 5D chess and Pawnbarian, which are both very fun ways of chess, however this takes the whole thing to a new level which I personally really enjoy.

There are some aspects which I would see as negative for most games, however, seeing how the game was developed by a student and the care that is going into it at the moment, it is a fantastic game which you can get for free.

Yes, I can acknowledge that some bugs in the game are problematic, and some features are not included in the game like a king being in check but allowing other pieces to move, however for what the game is, and the main focus of its combat, I think many can safely ignore how the game plays on the board, to appreciate how the game plays between the pieces.

Although bugs will exist in any game, it is sure that you will find one or two in most matches, however they usually bugs that make the game more interesting or fun to play.

One addition I would like to see in the game however is the introduction of a timer like in traditional chess games, which could be turned off or on when creating the game, this would prevent stalemates happening in online games and also apply pressure to the game during the board gameplay.

This would also apply in game during a fight, most likely with a second timer or the introduction of no healing after a period of time, maybe 1 minute, this would make the game faster as a result and prevent games where rooks camp the high ground and snipe then grapple to another spot as any other piece tries to assault them.

Overall, it is a really fun game and I hope the dev can make this game into something equivalent to the games of aforementioned games.

Besiege is actually a great game for building war machines, it has many levels to unleash your machines on and combined with the multitude of weapons included in the base game it has a complex arrangement of machines for you to build. Of course the modding community has taken besiege with open arms and has transformed what you could build normally, provided you have a buff pc or laptop, you can even build realistic planes or warships to fire upon the enemy in this game.

Many people have also uploaded to the workshop which makes everything easier for you and unleashes your creative ability, with this in mind remember that multiplayer has come out so you can wage war on your friends with your stupid or clever machines. Personally I have many creations which are single purpose, but others can make machines that complete an entire section!

In besiege there are multiple levels and they have their own special terrain disadvantages, for instance one of them have a cold storm meaning you have to use high friction pads to keep your machine on the floor. Or on another level it is entirely in the sky meaning you have to make a glider or plane to finish it. Not only does it test your ability on making tanks or cars but other mechanical machines. This also helps people understand mechanisims in a car or a planes although not too indepth.

Overall the game is a solid fixture with many points to allow people to join in and modify it to their hearts content, you might find it diffucult at times and maybe not understand it. So many people have taken to youtube and give videos about it. It has a very good community consisting of modders and players alike and they always accept new ideas as long as they are good. I enjoy this game, however I haven't played on it for a long time. I just wanted my 2 cents on this.
