Early Access Review
Great fun game, I absolutely adore it and love the new progression overhaul and the previous issue with game crashing at start/end of loading into/out of maps has been fixed as we've seen on 15/10/2023.

Still as good as I remember every time I play it. Love the higher resolution textures and higher quality music. Great to play some N64 and PS1 levels again on Tiberian Dawn. This is exactly what I wanted! Next up, hopefully Tiberian Sun and RA2 Yuris Revenge.

So much better than you'd ever expect it to be.
Soundtrack is amazing, story is amazing, game-play is great.
Keep playing after your first run through, it isn't the end of the story. Avoid spoilers at all costs.

Ran awfully, horrible load times. Gameplay was unresponsive at times and over all very frustrating.
Not a fan of it's combat, both the fighting element and movement. Too slow for my liking and felt clunky etc.
Not for me. I'd rather play mount and blade.

Also need a way of dealing with trolls on public servers that can't be used maliciously.

What a beautiful game. The visual's and the music is just absolutely gorgeous. The small puzzles and 2d platforming is alot of fun, but the main focus is the beautiful atmosphere that this game creates (like journey). Very nice, relaxing and heartwarming in a way.

It's art.

Pretty cool game, even better in co-op. Has a tendancy to have some bugs and crash at unfortunate times. But you can get alot of enjoyment out of this game.

Absolutely loved this game back when it came out on the 360, amazing destruction capability and a fun open world, plenty of things to do and hours to spend on it. This remaster is nice to see and I bought it when I could. The touch up on textures etc. is nice but there is one huge issue that I am experiencing with now and that is I am getting huge stutters ingame that makes it near unplayable.

I'd whole heartedly recommend this but I cannot until this issue (and the crashing that other people get) is fixed. If it does get fixed for myself, I'll be switching this to a good review, as it does deserve it if not for the current issues. :(

Buggy, laggy mess (to be fair they have improved it, but still in it's current state not great). Hit detection feels very clunky and the game consists of RNG loot spawns that (from constant personal experience) only favour the lucky. Whilst getting a win may feel nice, killing people with better or worse gear loses it's charm quickly.

I can see why people like it, but I really don't. I really do not like the idea of getting constantly screwed over in every game.

But if you love the idea of a battle royal game, don't let this stop you.
