As much of a purist that i am; so far I love this remaster. I have some minor gripes, but nothing that a few mods can't fix in a while.

Some SERIOUS heart and effort has gone into this game. It's been years since a game has made me smile, and this game makes me smile a lot.

My only "complaints"... if you can call them that, is more so a list of things that just need some tweak and polish.

Excellent timeless CLASSIC. Great story, great voice acting, great graphics for the time that still hold up in some days today. (old graphics vs bad graphics, this one is just old but not bad). Has a couple of issues, but what game doesn't? They end up becoming a funny charm in a way.

This is an old school game that requires YOU to step up to the challenge, and you totally should. Ultra recommended.

Absolutely fantastic with just a touch of annoying things here and there. Typically a game like would come out and have very little to zero story. But Sanabi? Let me tell you... this game's story...the story...THE STORY IS SO DAMN GOOD!!!!

I cannot WAIT to see what is next.

Is the world large and cool? Yep. Is that all there is to write home about? Yep

Have you ever want to play a souls game in which you have ZERO since of direction? Where every possible direction feels like "the wrong way" because things insta-wreck you. Since they felt the stupid need to turn this into Souls of the Wild, you have a giant world with barely anything in it and practically no idea of where to go or what to do. "become elden lord". Okay sweet, how to do I do that? No idea. OH WAIT, a few hours in now the game starts telling you a little bit of information...that is if you know who to talk to about it and even do so.

I don't feel like going on and on, but here's some "little" things that are just flat out sh*t or lazy design

- You can just warp from anywhere at any time outside of combat. WTF. There is literally almost no worry or care about getting to a bonfire.

- Warping has ZERO ANIMATIONS. Just LOL BLACK SCREEN. Lazy as f*** what the hell!?

- Absolutely horrible sense of pace and adventure. Am I supposed to be here yet? What am I doing? Do I go here? What's that? You only have to kill two major bosses to go into the city? What's that? You can actually ride the giant lift up to the plateau? It's usable? Well I HAD NO IDEA BECAUSE THE GAME DOESN'T"T GIVE ME ANY THING TO GO OFF OF. I took the SECRET route and NEVER EVEN KNEW ABOUT THE "INTENDED ROUTE"

I just can't waste my time with this ♥♥♥♥ anymore. 100+ hours in all 3 previous souls games, I repeat, 100+ hours in Dark souls 1, Dark souls 3, and Dark Souls 3, and this one is just as bad if not worse as DS3.

What is this game? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. The UI is a TOTAL FREAKING DISASTER. What did I just click on, what is this, where is that, who is this, wait an army? Where? How? No idea. I can't be bothered. Total garbage.

Biggest pile of trash I've ever seen. 1.0 my ass, this game is STILL alpha at best.

Runs like ♥♥♥♥, looks like ♥♥♥♥, RUNS LIKE TOTAL ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! Literally, Half Life 1 looks better. Why? BECAUSE HL1 ISN'T A BLURRY MESS.
