Solid, competitive, and fun puzzle game with the option of either Puyo Puyo or Tetris, two, very popular puzzle games, particularly in Japan. There are also other modes available such as a combination of both Puyo Puyo and Tetris, a mode only available in this title.

An emphasis on competitive in that it isn't just about stacking quickly and unleashing chains, combos, and T-spins, but you will also want to watch your opponent to see when they will unleash an attack, and be able to react to them, or when they are vulnerable to attacks that will stop them from being able to attack. Understanding the flow of offensive play and defensive play will be key.

You can still play competitively with knowledge in only one game mode if you wish. Find your preferred play style and clear stacks of puyo/lines to victory!

This game is THE RPG for those that want a faster paced RPG, while being turn-based, but don't want to invest too many hours going through lengthy cutscenes and dialogue, and be able to enjoy its various challenges. The roguelike nature of this game provides many hours of adventures with the many randomly generated worlds that you can play through (and go back to if you want) and the 4 difficulty settings that allows new players and veterans at the game to enjoy at various levels.

Each run is quick, simple, and fun, being able to quickly go from a fresh, level 1 character to an unstoppable hero with hundreds of levels, provided you can survive long enough. The world is being consumed in darkness, and you must run from left to right and outrun the darkness while going on your journey. There are several win-state goals in the game, each of which with varying difficulty. In other words, just because you've defeated the Dark Lord doesn't mean you've finished the game. There is more to the game than simply defeating the Dark Lord.

With the different classes with different play styles, the potential allies that you can recruit, the different worlds and encounters, there are many unique adventures to be had in your quest to save the world. The amount of content and hours of gameplay you will get out of this is well worth the very cheap price of this game. I also highly recommend getting the One Way Heroics + DLC as well as it adds more classes, content, and functionality.

I have been a fan of the Escape Velocity series on the old Macintosh computers, back when I was stuck on a Mac with barely any games. Escape Velocity by Ambrosia Software was one of the few games that were actually GOOD on the Mac, and I enjoyed the series a lot.

SPAZ is very similar in terms of controls, and the 2D space combat action, but more combat-centric than that of the Escape Velocity series. Auto-building your destroyed ships, simple ship outfit customizability, infinite missiles (if equipped with missile launchers), etc. are some aspects that cuts out the micro-management, and more PEW PEW, BOOM!

Even if you aren't familiar with Escape Velocity, it is a fun game that is fairly easy to get into. With randomly generated galaxies upon save creation, and difficulty settings, it provides some pretty good replay value as well, being able to test out different strategies along the way. If you enjoy space combat action, SPAZ is a great game for some big explosions.

Beat Hazard is a very pretty and colorful game/mp3 player. Yes, it has a music player feature as well, with access to a few radio stations as well, making it neat to have open during parties. o_o Personally, it is my favorite music-based game so far.

Of course, the gameplay is fairly simple, and yet complicated. Shoot things, and survive till you reach the end of the song you're playing. Go for a highscore. Simple enough concept. The complications are involved within the music, as your music selection may make the song/level easier or harder. The louder the music, the stronger your ship's firepower is. There are power ups that can help you, and upgrades for them.

With the Beat Hazard Ultra DLC, it adds many more to the game like more power ups like missiles, beams, and a reflector shield, as well as different types of enemies to shoot at as well. Add to that, additional features such as new modes, online co-op, etc., makes it a fairly solid game.

Great game for $10, especially considering there's content for many different types of players. Explore many randomly generated 2D worlds and discover many treasures on the way. Adventure through many different biomes such as the forest, the Corruption, jungles, deserts, underground, Dungeons, floating islands in the sky, and the Underworld, fighting your way against all the monsters and creatures that you may encounter in them. You can also trigger events through your adventures that may affect your world. Remodel your world by building all sorts of buildings and terrain with both materials you find and create. On top of all that, this game has multiplayer support to explore, adventure, build, and also Role Play with.

With so much to do, I easily spent 60+ hours on it, and still play often. Feel free to contact me so we can play multiplayer together. =D

This is a casual game that's a cross between Tetris and Lumines without the gravity. If fitting geometric shapes into place is something you enjoy, then there's a good chance this game will fill that spot.
