Absolutely infuriating. Why can't the little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ get ammo or shoot at the planes themselves? While you're scrambling to keep the plane together they're out of ammo in their turret with their thumb up their ass or just watching the planes on their pretty strafing runs without shooting at them until you tell them to.

It's just, fun. Idk why. Nice to play a solely relaxing game. Not once in my few hours (lol) of playing have I ever gotten mad at the game. As you normally get with most other games. Get another monitor, find a funny youtube series or sporting event (I watch F1) for on the other monitor and farm away. By far my most enjoyable, most endlessly playable game. There's also the modding community that puts out amazing stuff, and the multiplayer if you're lucky enough to have a friend that enjoys it (sadly I do not have one :/ ) it all makes it better.

Controls and hit detecting absolutley appaling. It's like playing with a keyboard made out of cheese.

Due to update 0.6.2 I can now consider this game complete enough to play. It is now, finally, fun :) I really appreciate the developers listening to and caring about what I had to say (see comments below) It can only hopefully be improvement from here on out. New tech trees, map areas, who knows. Below this is my original (slightly mean) review from way back when.

Long long, ago:
Fun for about an hour, then you hit the broken progression wall. All time after this is roaming around aimlessly searching for a certian part. Hours and hours to find things that should unlock with progression that simply was lazily not finished. Buy something else.

A perfect case of a waste of money.

Played this game at a friend's house, we were both huge forza fans before we switched to PC, game was fun so I picked it up on sale. Since my first race it has had a bug that will make it lag a few seconds, then go in fast forward to catch back up. Makes it completely unplayable. I really wanted it to work so I began searching for a fix. Tried everything I could find, even going into my bios and changing CPU settings that may have been causing it. Which they shouldn't anyway, since all of my 100+ other games worked completely fine with the cpu just the way it was. While in my trying to fix it (starting the game up, trying to do a race, still didn't fix it, try something else, still didn't fix it, etc.) I went over my two hours and am now stuck with it. Judging by how the forum posts of people having the same problem were from 7+ months ago, I'm sure it will never be fixed.

I really wanted to like the game, and when it works is so fun, almost better than my beloved forza days. However when the game goes into warp speed and sends me through a turn into a wall it outweighs the good. Another shining example of why early access is garbage. Why would they fix the game or make it work for everyone? They've already made their fortune.

It's okay.
