I genuinely have a hard time recommending anything against this game. Everything you can do in this game is very satsfying and enjoyable. As someone who is mainly interested in fps titles this game makes me take an exception and for good reason. The driving is something you can not get tired of. The destruction, the speed, wrecking and just the sounds and visuals make this game an amazing experience, even long after a decade since it came out.

But it is old, so it won't look good, right? Wrong. This game looks fantastic and doesn't even require a good pc to run it. The post-processing on the cars and the tracks are really detailed and the reflections. Oh boy. The reflections.

The game mainly has 3 gamemodes: normal races, destruction derbies and stunt events. The races require you to, you know, go fast and win, but you can earn lots of money by wrecking your oppositon and taking out key enemies can result in victory.
In derbies, you have to kil
The derbies are the weakest part in my opinion. They can be a bit tedious and wrecking in normal races is so much more satisfying.
In stunts you are required to launch your driver into a set of sports games to score points. They are fun, but as well as derbies, they aren't the best part.
There are two bonus gamemodes that you can find if you are willing to be creative.
One of them is just using the Flatmobile cheat car on Canals 1 and go for jumps and crash-outs. I have spent way too much time doing that.
Second is going to the test track with music turned off, pressing gas and enjoying going in an oval for hours. This is where the sound design comes into play.

The cherry on top of all this is the soundtrack. You. Can. Not. Get. Enough.
I have been listening to the OST for so long, for so much time, yet, I still haven't gotten bored of it and it still rocks.

There are a select few problems i have with this game.
One is, the multiplayer doesn't work without using 3rd party mods, servers and patches. I don't mind that though.
Second, the derby class, at the beginning of the game, starts up so slowly after finishing race class that it sometimes feels like torture. Just get to stage 2.

In conclusion, buy it. You will not regret it.

Amazing game but overshadowed by L4D2. The suble changes between this and the second game make me like this instalment better but I highly doubt you'll be able to enjoy it without 3 friends. Still a good game though.

The third installment of Hot Guns is still good as ever. This time you play as Jake, who has been asked by the city mayor himself to go to the country's prison and stop a crime organization from freeing their leader.
The platforming in this game is good too, and there are still lots of secrets and collectibles. The music is still excellent.
As always, this game is still cheap and fun, and grants you with hours of fun. Oh, and it still makes me rage. But if you get to know the game, it will be a piece of cake. And challenges are a great part of games.
I really recommend picking it up.
Also, did you think about this? You go into a really secure prison facility and you immideatly get "Deja Vu" at the prison stage... Hmm... Anyone getting Prison Run and Gun vibes? And you can see Bobby run from purple bunnies in the credits. Wow.

This game is the second installment of Hot Guns, and it looks like it is. You play as the prisoner "Pedro", who just've got a "once-in-a-lifetime" chance to ecape from the prison, which seems to be the most secure prison facility in the state. Are you ready for the challenge?
It has excellent platforming, great puzzles (yeah, this one is puzzle-centered), cool secrets and achievements. The controls are easy to learn, and are straightforward.
The game is a "rage-shoot-platformer-secrets" game, and it's really worh it. It has the same great "content/money" rate.
If you like platformers, and have a lot of time, it's time to pick this game up!
Oh, and the music-earworm has returned for another round. Has great music.

This is a really enjoyable rage-shooter, money-collecting game, about a man called Bobby, searching for the legendary money tree.
Full of achievements, secrets, guns, gold, and stupid cardboard-headed men. And also a mining truck.
The platforming is excellent, the levels are hard, but not unfair, and has a great learning curve.
I don't recommend the game if you can't handle the rage. Has at least 10 hours of fun.
Has a great "content/money" rate. Enyojable, you might ask? That's a solid yes.
I really recommend buying it.
And it also has awesome music that will worm into your ears for years.

Play it. It is one of the best Half-life mods, i really enjoyed it. It's as hard as it would be to escape a prison. Good houmor. Play it. Keep you eyes peeled for secrets.
