Pokemon:Gun memes aside, it's a very good game and deserves the breakout success.

i felt like I was on the edge of figuring everything out and at the same time had no idea what everything was leading towards. a rare balancing point for games to hit and a really unique experience.

PARE PARE PARE

An absurdly high quality game

normally i'd add "for a game made as a pure labor of love, with no monetization whatsover" but it doesn't even need that qualifier, it's just an incredibly high quality game.

There's probably a timeline where Skullgirls won the vote to get into EVO instead of smash and none of this stuff ever happened, so really, Democracy is the problem.

I downloaded the game like two weeks ago because i wanted to get the skins for the Hololive collab and it kinda grew on me after chapter 2 to the point where i recommended it to a friend, but it really tanked all the enthusiasm I had for the game in the last day with how greedy the Hololive collab monetization is. As a Hololive fan, I naturally compare it to the Azur Lane and Valkyrie Connect collabs and those were nowhere near as predatory.

now I kinda feel guilty for the reccommendation, so consider this review me making up for it.
