Excellent game on couch co-op. Builds up slowly but pace picks up later. Totally recommended.

Fun little game, I liked it. Pixel graphics are beautiful, music fits the action and controls are smooth. I also like the fact that you can make the game easier by buying upgrades to your ship. Only few negative points: The game is too short and at least for me I couldn't get the game to run in full screen mode. Well I think the game thought it was in full screen even though my desktop was showing outside the borders and no Alt+Enter helped.

Just finished this game and firstly I wanna ask: What on earth did they do to Xen?! I mean, in the original Half Life I always thought that Xen was the most uninspired, underwhelming and boring part of the game. In Black Mesa, they completely redesigned the Xen part. Even in my wildest dreams I couldn't have imagined Xen to be so beautiful and fun as it is in this game. There are countless of times where I would just stop and enjoy the scenery. They even redesigned the final boss fight which, in the original Half Life, was in my opinion one of the most frustrating and boring bosses in an FPS game to this date. In Black Mesa the boss is actually engaging and gets your adrenaline flowing. Black Mesa made what was the most tedious part of the original Half Life, into the most fun and exciting part of the game.

The soundtrack is also top-notch. It complements the situation very well, whether it is a beautiful scenery or a heated fighting scene. This game surpasses the original in pretty much every aspect while still staying true to the original game. There are some minor bugs here and there, but nothing major or game-breaking.

I warmly recommend this game to everyone. Even if you haven't played the original, I think Black Mesa captures the story even better than the original Half Life.

From now on, whenever I feel like playing Half Life again, I'll play Black Mesa.

So I just beat the game and all I can tell you is that it is FANTASTIC!

It is obvious that a lot of hard work and love was put into this game. The graphics are beautiful and detailed (all the cute, reactive animals in the towns for example), the soundtrack is top notch and controls work as they should. There was not a single instance I died because of bad controls - just gotta blame the player!

The game is challenging, but forgiving (before each boss battle there is a save point). And when I say challenging, it does not mean overly hard. I suck at hard games and even I beat this. It just requires the-good-old learning the pattern. I'd say for me personally, the hardest part was the beginning, when you have only a small amount of health and just one or two extra health bottles.

I found it fun going around the map searching for secrets and hidden items, which there are plenty enough. In the endgame it's not hard at all since you have more health and extra health bottles, so you can just dash through the map.

I spent over 40 hours with this immensely fun game, so it is DEFINITELY worth the small price tag. If you love retro-styled metroidvanias with lovely graphics and music, this is a must-buy for you!

I have to honestly say I pirated this game at first because I wasn't completely sure I'd like it. However, HeartZ turns out to be extremely fun and quite challenging game! So I bought it to leave this positive review and to support the devs.

The game is best played with 3 players but works totally well with just 2 players as well (the way I played). It is challenging in the ways that some puzzles actually stop you to wonder what to do next, while some stages require precision, timing and speed. The diverse game mechanics and play styles keep you entertained for hours and hours.

If you like co-op puzzle games with pleasing graphics and a hint of humor on the side, you will absolutely love HeartZ!

I played this game through 100% and what a ride it has been. It's a mix of different types of game styles and mechanics blended around an Action RPG core much like Zelda: Link to the Past. Graphics and music are top notch and the story keeps you playing until the ending. The game crashed on me couple of times, but because this game saves often, I didn't lose any progress. Maybe some game mechanics could use just a little polish, but I still truly enjoyed all of them. The changing game mechanics kept the whole experience fresh and versatile.

Basically, if you like retro/arcade games and Action RPGs, you are going to love this one.

Such a masterpiece. Hoping for Evoland 3 some day.

Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light are both truly fantastic pieces of art that any gamer should play through. The atmosphere is spot on. Both games are also very well written and keep you hooked until the very end. Truly the only thing I dislike about these games are the fact, that they have checkpoints instead of letting me save the game whenever I want.

Try them out, they are worth your every penny! What an amazing journey it has already been and I cannot wait to play Metro Exodus!

However, I will not support the Epic Store exclusivity, so I will buy Metro Exodus in a year, when it comes out on Steam.

Well remastered game. I did not have any crashes or whatsoever. The only small problem I encountered was that when starting the game, it would occasionally start in windowed more even though I had previously chosen full screen mode. Not a big deal.

If you've never played Bioshock, try this one.

If you've already played the original Bioshock, try it with updated graphics.

This is a game everyone should play through at least once.

Really addicting and satisfying gameplay. Some perks are extremely fun but on the contrary some seem totally useless. At this point there isn't really much to do when you reach the max perk level, although I've heard they are addressing the issue.

[UPDATE] They've already issued a fix for that! You can now prestige your perk to reset it to level 0, and get some bonuses like increased weapon skins, increased experience rate etc. So basically your fun never ends! At the time of writing this, you can already prestige the same perk 3 times! Along the way I've come to like all the classes, and the amount of work and love the developers still put into this game never seizes to amaze me. [UPDATE]

...And what's best: After all these years, the developers still actively update the game with new and fun content!

Having a stressful day? Is the life kicking you in the head? Blow up some zeds, it helps!

Totally recommend this game!
