Early Access Review
A lil tougher than the original, and takes some time relearning the items and their new catagorization. But DAMN, this is epic; A great redux with more and more stuff coming over the year.

I enjoy the controller. That's what it sums up to. Yes, its shaped inward but I have no issue with this like some do, and the tactial function takes a bit to get use to but once you do its a breeze. I don't have issues holding/gaming with the controller for a long time so it just depends on your hands. Just know what it does and how its shaped and if you think you'll like it, go for it. But wait for it to be on sale for sure. It does make gaming easier for controller-based games.

Limiting controls to keyboard for a game that needs more dynamic control use (ie, mouse buttons) in a game that has you constantly switching items to use that you hardly get that are needed to kill enemies that are constantly there (and can only be killed with this one item) and constantly getting trapped between it and enemies you cant jump over and dying again and again and again and being respawned to the beginning, making you have to travel through those same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ again.

Besides this obvious controls flaw, great design and artwork. But I'm getting a refund and will avoid this unless they add in the ability to bind keys to mouse buttons. First game of nearly 200 games I've ever wanted a refund on. Trust the reviews; the bad controls are BAD.

If you loved MYST, you'll love this.
If you love scenic puzzles that make you do the work, you'll love this.
If you love scifi and high quality graphics and storylines; you'll. love. this.

Freaking amazing, kill everything, get everything platformer. Only downside are the occasional crashes like when hosting games. Totally ruins the streak and mood to get where you wanna be and lose it all. But asides for that; great soundtracks, amazing enemies with some that will test your limits and force you to move outside your comfort zone of safety just to stay alive. KEEP MOVING.

All the crying. And all of the spirit to go on. From details to perfect difficulty(s) and purely awesome controls, this adventure is one I won't put down soon.

Wilson, record: 5 hours first day, a week on the planet. Makes you very selfaware of your health and other stats while trying to distract you with amazing landscape and contraptions. Just saw signs of other presence. Will scout tomorrow after catching up on sleep.

Like most people; unresponsive jump, way too much inertia and requires EXTREME PRICSISON jumping with 0% leeway. This game WILL frusterate you. Its not calming, you can't even make the first three jumps without dying a dozen times (it took me 300+ times to beat ONE LEVEL and it took me nearly 40 seconds because I had to slow constantly to fight the crazy physics which is the complete opposite of Sina"RUN"). I just wouldn't recommeend it unless you like NIGHLY POSSIBLE landing games where a touchpad would do better for pressure sensing.

Number one issue: cannot change bindings. They continously revert. I'm not bothering beyond that. At least my CD version allowed me to change those, even if it crashed endlessly.

March 2018 update: Tried it again randomly. Seems to be working now that I have Windows 10. Still doesn't like turning and forward motions at once 95% of the time so have to click everywhere I wanna go. Still lil janky overall but still good memories. Can't recommend cause cost, but is cool to play for fun's sake.
