Fantastic game! Entropy: Zero 2 lets you play through the eyes of a combine soldier in the HL2 universe. I guess you can compare this game to what Opposing Force is to HL1. The story is good and the main character is badass. Adds a few more weapons to HL2's arsenal and has better animations/sounds for the existing ones. Once you're done with the storyline there's still plenty of fun to be had with the challenge maps and maps that walk you through the development progress. Without a doubt the best HL2 mod I've played so far.

A great RPG that I could recommend to anyone.

Torchlight II is an absolutely gigantic game with tons of possibilities. There are 4 different classes which all have their strenghts and weaknesses. Each class has 3 different skill trees which contain both passive and active skills. Most skills require you to be a pretty high level though, so getting your desired skills and have them at a high rank will definitely take you some time.

The levels in Torchlight are huge! They are filled with lots of enemies, NPCs and objects that will have you fighting and exploring for a while. After you've completed the game, you have the chance to play a few bonus maps with various buffs and de-buffs or you can decide to play the game over again with the same character, but with the enemies adjusted to your current character level.

There's also a big variety of weapons in the game. Melee weapons like staves, spears, axes, swords and ranged weapons like crossbows, guns and wands. Some classes have skills in their skill tree that allows you to increase your proficiency with a certain weapon type. Torchlight II has an added workshop which allows you to make use of the many mods that are made for this game. Mods can add different characters, game mechanics or even more weapons like throwing axes, throwing knives and claws.

All of that said, I can definitely recommend Torchlight II to anyone that is into Hack and Slash RPGs. Prepare for hours of fun and tons of achievements to unlock!

A nice puzzle game that kind of feels like Portal without portals. There's stuff like launch pads, cubes that activate certain moving objects and open doors, a mechanic that allows you to pass and walk on different types of platforms and a co-op mode. The levels are all very well made and will definitely require some thinking to complete them. Each level has 3 'data fragments' which are optional to collect to unlock certain bonus levels. These fragments are often very easy to obtain, but some of them are very well hidden. One thing that I should mention is that the game is not very big (even together with the bonus levels) and I could not get the co-op missions to work. It's definitely worth the money though, had great fun playing it!

MINERVA is a community made mod for Half-Life 2. I guess you could call this one Half-Life 2: Episode 2.5. It looks, feels and plays exactly like the other Half-life 2 parts. The story is small, yet very entertaining. The levels are amazingly well made to match Half-Life 2's environment. It is certainly not an easy game and you will sometimes spend some time to figure out on where to go next, but it is certainly not too difficult either.

If you liked Half-Life 2, then you definitely need to try this mod.

Unreal, a game made in 1998. A game that I am sure of many people will remember for it's amazing graphics at the time. Even now in 2015 as I am writing this review, I can still say that Unreal is a great looking game with an amazing plot.

Unreal is a fast paced 1st person shooter with a huge campaign, as well as the possibility to fight in deathmatches, capture the flag and many more gamemodes with bots. The levels in this game can be quite difficult to navigate trough and have many secrets to be revealed, but are all extremely well made. There is a large variety of weapons that you'll aquire troughout the game as well as a large variety of enemies that you'll encounter in Unreal's large amount of levels, giving you the possibility to shoot your way out in every way imaginable.

A thing I should also mention is the difficulty of this game. There are 4 different difficulty settings in this game, easy being the easiest setting and 'unreal' being the hardest. What they did is actually improve the enemies' AI, increase their damage and decrease the amount of ammo, health and upgrades you will find troughout the levels. This is something you'll rarely encounter in nowadays' games where they will just increase the damage you'll take and decrease the damage you deal. Unreal has a great way of spicing up things by making it more difficult in different ways.

Like any other game, it needs music. The music in this game is not just some lousy drums and some silly beeps here and there. No no, there's a lot more to it than just that in Unreal. Each and every track is extremely well made and adds a lot more to just a simple level where you pass a cave or tunnel. As soon as you'll enter a spaceship for example, you'll notice the music will change to a more electronic style which fits really well with the level.

All in all, Unreal is a great fast paced futuristic shooter with a nice variety of weapons, great enemy A.I. and an amazing storyline that I could reccomend to anyone that doesn't care about graphics, but about gameplay instead.

When it comes to strategy games, this is probably one of the best you can find. For its time the graphics and gameplay are amazing. The different civilizations you can play require different kinds of skill levels. Though it can sometimes feel like the game is a bit unbalanced. (Britons fight with guns and mounted musketeers, Aztecs fight with bows and spears). By having the opportunity to mass up a huge army of spearmen as a native American against a Briton that can only have a limited amount of musketeers, you can still fight quite a fair battle. The campaigns are also really well made. The maps look absolutely beautiful and the kind of strategy you'll have to apply to each campaign can get you some more variety than just a random map game. There's definitely plenty of stuff left for you to find out when you'll start playing this game. You're going to love it if you're into strategy games (like me ^^).

Oh Garry's Mod 13, why did you have to ruin EVERYTHING?

Gmod used to be a great sandbox game with a few bugs here and there, but then that dreaded day where Gmod 13 came out changed everything. The game only went downhill by that point. For some reason they decided that removing half of the props was a good idea. Those really cool and useful tools that you use all the time? Nah, we're just going to remove them for you. Got some pesky bugs in your single player map? We don't care since Gmod is played Multiplayer more than Singleplayer. You used to be able to build pretty much everything imaginable with the old addons and possible extra addons that you could download from e.g. garrysmod.org, but sadly that is now no longer possible.

Obvioulsy you can still have lots of fun with all these new online gamemodes, but Singleplayer just ain't what it used to be anymore.

It's a bit difficult to get the hang of this game in the beginning, but as you continue on you'll find yourself enjoying this game a lot and playing it for hours straight. Making an army to fight other lords that are your enemy or just in your way gets you in huge battles that are the most interesting and enjoyable part of this game. Riding on the back of your horse and shooting your bow is just so much fun to do. Charging into an enemy and to swing your sword into his body to see a nice number of damage pop up gives you just a good feeling of an accomplishment, because it's pretty hard to do. It might get a bit boring after playing it for a while since it's a bit repetitive, but I can easyally say that this is one of my favourite medieval themed game that I've played so far.
