Modern Warfare 2 (2022) takes us back to the adrenaline-fueled chaos that the franchise is known for, and it does so with a level of polish and innovation that sets a new standard for modern shooters. As a die-hard fan of the original, I approached this revisit with cautious excitement, but I'm thrilled to report that Infinity Ward has delivered a game that not only pays homage to its predecessor but also stands confidently on its own merits.

Graphics & Sound (5/5):
Visually, Modern Warfare 2 (2022) is a stunner. The environments are meticulously detailed, ranging from war-torn urban landscapes to breathtaking natural settings. The lighting effects are jaw-dropping, making every explosion and muzzle flash feel shockingly realistic. The character models exhibit impressive attention to detail, conveying a range of emotions that adds depth to the narrative.

The sound design is equally exceptional. Gunfire roars with a satisfying punch, explosions reverberate through the battlefield, and the voice acting brings the characters to life. The soundtrack strikes a balance between familiar themes from the original game and new compositions that enhance the emotional weight of each mission.

Gameplay & Mechanics (5/5):
Infinity Ward has masterfully retained the heart-pounding intensity that made the original Modern Warfare 2 a classic. The controls are responsive and intuitive, allowing players to seamlessly transition between gunfights, close-quarters combat, and stealthy takedowns. The return of fan-favorite weapons is a nostalgic treat, while the introduction of new firearms adds variety to the arsenal.

The level design is a standout feature, offering both open-ended environments for strategic planning and tight corridors for intense firefights. The campaign strikes a balance between high-octane set pieces and moments of introspection, all while maintaining a gripping pace that keeps players on the edge of their seats.

Narrative & Multiplayer (4.5/5):
The single-player campaign delivers a gripping narrative that seamlessly weaves together action, suspense, and emotional depth. It pays homage to the original's story while introducing new twists and characters that keep players invested. However, a few moments feel slightly rushed or underdeveloped, preventing it from achieving a perfect score in this category.

The multiplayer component is a true highlight, with a wide range of maps, modes, and customizable loadouts to cater to every type of player. The return of classic maps alongside carefully crafted new ones provides a healthy dose of nostalgia for veterans, while newcomers will appreciate the balance and diversity of gameplay styles.

Innovation (5/5):
Modern Warfare 2 (2022) doesn't merely rely on nostalgia; it introduces fresh gameplay mechanics that enhance the overall experience. The dynamic weather system adds a layer of unpredictability to battles, forcing players to adapt their strategies on the fly. The introduction of destructible environments opens up new tactical possibilities, encouraging creative approaches to engagements.

Final Thoughts:
Modern Warfare 2 (2022) is a triumphant return to a beloved title, proving that some games are timeless and can be reimagined without losing their essence. With stunning graphics, exhilarating gameplay, and an emotional narrative, it's a must-play for both fans of the original and newcomers to the franchise. Infinity Ward has managed to strike the perfect balance between honoring the past and embracing the future, delivering a game that sets a new standard for the shooter genre.

What i think of the newer state of the game.

Honestly the game has alot of new features and even though its is a grinding game it really makes you want to progress and dodge different obstacles.

For example, how you can easily get to sector B by paying someone but then you will have to cut into your profits so you are advised to find other ways to the other sectors. in the beginning it isnt really complicated but the longer you play the harder it becomes. if you get caught your expositon factor will go up and making the risk of a DEA raid higher and higher. There will also be alot more cops when expositon factors become higher. There are alot of refrences to the show "Breaking bad" which probably most of you have heard of.

Later on when you deliver expensive deliveries you dont really care for them since its become really repetitive so its great the game expands and gives you other objects to make the game more intresting. This game is one of those games which you can play being really focused or with friends in the background depending on how important your progress is to you.

However one of the problems i have noticed since i live at 2 different places that you would need to transfer your save data inbetween the two different computers but it isnt really that much of a nuisence.

Another thing is when the DEA raids you the weed plants pots get removed but the weed itself isnt removed but honestly i was kind of happy this was a bug since then i wouldnt have to restart from the beginning.
