Fix your game first, free DLCs dont save you.

Originaly I made a review for the classic version of the Mafia 3 (Original release + DLCs), it was positive one. I have decided to play the "Definitive" version and I was more than surprised. First of all, my savegames were lost. That was still acceptable and I have decided to play the game AGAIN, but holy ****. They introduced millions of bugs. Quests are disappearing, side missions dont even spawn vehicles, some unlockable vehicles dont unlock at all, achievements dont unlock as well and the list goes on and on and the worst part is, that this game turned to be ABANDONWARE! Hangar 13 left it to rot with its issues and they dont bother to make their game playable. So if you want to save your nerves and time, you better to avoid this title. Hangar 13 did good job with Mafia 1 Definitive Edition, but this one is tragedy.

This game is simply great.

This game is not bad, in fact I like this game. So in short:

Many policies
Things are influencing other things
Management of staff
Solving problematic situations
Creating own "democracy"

Its "Democracy" so its not really much possible to start a totalitarian state, left or right
1 turn events are repetitive and after 3rd time, really boring
Hard to get in to it from start, but its okay later
Not really possible to stay in power for a long time, because of debt during cyclones and food crisis in later era

Its good game, but I rather recommend you, buy it only if you like politics.

You will truly enjoy the game, its a masterpiece of Mahjong genre. The art in the background is fantastic, I wish I would draw like that one, who created this game.

Good. VERY GOOD!

I wrote originally a positive review back in the days, when the developer was serious and the game was fun. Its not anymore.

The new developer {Or at least the new team} is full of people that have no idea about debugging, programming and lots of other stuff, not to mention that community manager described original SR fans as terrorists. Its a tragedy. They managed to destroy the fun franchise. Now its full of bugs, lags, almost unplayable and the developer is anti-consumer.

They released update, that was supposed to give DLCs to everyone and upgrade the game. Which would be nice. But they broke the whole game in the process. They broke the performance, they broke the saves, achievements and they broke the last game that was playable from their franchise.

This is not a developer, this is breakdowner. They are incompetent pieces of disappointment and just terrible at their job, I wonder who thought that giving them responsibility for the Saints Row franchise would be a good idea, but that person is seriously disconnected from the reality of the development and consumers.

It was great game, as all of the Saints Rows. But that is over. Now its just a software waste.
