The game is almost in an unplayable state, performance is way worse then the demo, free mode lacks even more feature then the demo, and progression mode made battles repetitive by making you repeat the same battle 3 to 5 times when you select a fight.

Right now the demo is in a better state in almost every way, feels like some modes are also missing(i have yet to see spoilance which was really fun in the demo and one of the first fight types you can do) which you also can't select in freemode, because freemode does not let you select what mode and scenary you want to play in. the only thing you can do in free mode, is choose you weapons and armor from a restrictive list, then either fight a random npc, or play in split screen against a friend (which you can't do online because the game does not have remote play enabled).

There is also your typicial early access problems, in this case being blood not being render properly, and a lot of clipping through objects.


This game has a lot of potential though, so hopefully the issues in the future get resolved, just play the demo in the meanwhile.

the in game menus, specially the divine inspiration tree, are horribly optimized causing insane lag when the rest of the game runs perfectly well, this issue has been reported since 2023, with devs even commenting on the posts about it, but it looks like it's been ignored

a timeless masterpiece

The music is great and the graphics are stunning, the puzzles are good and involve some fun and original mechanics, the story is pretty good, following a man reliving his life in the limbo and covering some good themes, though unfortunately the platforming gets janky sometimes, and the last levels seem to drag on for a bit too long.
Overall a pretty good and underrated game, definitely worth picking up when it's on sale.
