I'm a programmer, and a classically trained musician who's been diving into EDM... I've purchased, played, and loved the previous releases by Zachtronics, but this one is very different from past offerings. Some may comment about the length, but I've paid more to see a movie. Eliza is well written, engaging, and it definitely resonated with me personally. Another fantastic offering by Zachtronics at a reasonable price. At this point I'll buy anything they put out, sight unseen.

The lack of quality and care has made this IP a dumpster-fire. I used to be TPA's biggest cheerleader, but they've abused their fans again and again. Flee. Pinball FX3 is now better in every way.

Am I currently terrible at it? Yeah. Is it still one of the best games I've played in the last year? Oh yeah! Challenging, logical, and open enough to make you want to continue playing. The learning curve is quite a bit steeper than an FPS or your standard "Mario" game, but it's ever-so rewarding when you finally find a working solution. Worth much more than the asking price.

If you crave realism and unlimited replayability, this is the sim for you. If you just want to jump into a plane and pull off physics-defying maneuvers while shooting down poorly controlled AI, this is NOT for you.

The game is a bit like myst, no people, no time limit, only clues in the environment. I quite enjoyed it on my phone, and they've done a brilliant job remastering it for the PC. People say that $5 is too much; My thoughts? It's just about right. It's a beautiful game with thoughtful and enjoyable puzzles. Finished it in under 3 hours (with hints turned off), but, it's a steal for $5. Skip renting a movie on Amazon or buying a cup of coffee one morning and buy this instead, if you like well conceived puzzles, you'll enjoy this.
