Just lost my almost 10 hour save data because of a game breaking bug :). Oh well, i guess that's on me for not saving on multiple slots, but i never had this problem with any other final fantasy (and most decent games) i've played so i wasn't expecting my save data to be obliterated. I'll still finish this someday but this has really put a sour taste in my FF series marathon. Even with updates as far as 2020 there are still several people commenting with similar issues. This port really needs more polish and this is just speaking on the fundamental functioning of the game.
