Game could be fun if parries actually worked at all, otherwise it another "melee combat" game where most the fun is found in cheese and not the actual melee based combat.

Maybe I'm just not understanding what the game wants me to do to actually parry an attack, but the game also doesn't seem to explain it well even in the dedicated level for teaching you how to parry. Might be an issue with left handed controls since it seemed more consistent when I griped the weapon in my right hand, but if the game is asking me which is my dominant hand I expect it t actually account for the fact I will be using that hand. Static blocks also don't seem to be a thing or don't work on my end, several time I saw enemy weapons just go though the weapon and hit me anyway.
Doesn't help that half that attacks in the game are just poorly telegraphed, enemies will instantly swap from one stance to another making any actual reading of what they are doing unreasonably difficult. The start of the "campaign" (just a set of levels in uninspired box rooms with differing enemies and starting weapons) also makes you unlock several mechanics that actually make the game interesting so you'll start off not really having fun with a incomplete and clunky combat system, it starts to pick up later on and I've seem some very great looking things from players sharing content of the game online, but about 2 and a half hours in is still isn't clicking and it's still an overly frustrating under-explained mess that is more tedious than actually being fun and engaging.

There's also a rouge lite mode (snore) and a sandbox mode (snore, but even louder). I wasn't compelled to spend any time on them, especially with the obnoxious TTS narrator locking you in place and it's tendency to yap on about nothing between actually saying something useful.

TLDR:
It's got clips online that look very fun, but most of the actual fun is locked being progress and it seems to just take too long to get to the good part you see everyone talking about.

An actual F-Zero style racing game.

Boomer inspired sci-fi immersive sim. Very fun.

Only tolerable while enjoying a nice glass of milk.
Stolen breast milk to be exact.

Fun as hell Stylish Action game that has just about everything synced up to the Rhythm of the soundtrack.
Great gameplay and great soundtrack, composed of both original and licensed songs.

Just a good game.

One of the must have VR games.
