Play this game.

This is really is an awesome game. It’s enjoyable, charming and a lot of fun. The game is a good mix of challenge without being too difficult, with a lot of clever puzzles. Speaking of, you honestly you shouldn’t get stuck on any. I admit I got stuck on a few, especially in the DLCs, but the solution is always there right in front of you – and even if it’s hard to see, there are countless clues in both the level titles and from the Uncle character.

Being that is from the creator of Portal, there are quite a few similarities that would be obvious to even the most casual of gamer. That being said, it doesn’t make this a bad game. Honestly, it’s not as good as Portal, but it’s a lot better then Portal 2. Seriously, this game is a lot of fun and definitely worth checking out.

My only complaint is that, like Portal, it’s fairly short; although the DLC does add about 2 hours to the overall package. As for the other complaints I’ve heard about this game in various reviews, mainly there is “too much first person plat forming” – it’s a non issue as far as I’m concerned. Yes, there is first person plat forming, and yes there is quite a lot of it, but it’s hardly challenging, irritating or tiring.

Also, pay attention to details and remember to check out the titles of the books laying around! Their titles tend reference works of literature and scientific or mathematical concepts, and there are some rather amusing titles.
