This game has a nice futuristic vibe to it. It's similar and at the same time different than other MMORPG games. Pros and cons are listed down below. I will add more info in the future so keep that in mind.

- There is a lot of content to go through.
- Customization is very good.
- Classes are well done and fun.
- Combat system is okay.

- Story telling is not something exceptional.
- Menus and UI in general is all over the place.
- Graphics seem a bit dated.

After I played this game for good amount of time, It’s time to write a review! I am going to write mostly pros and cons. Let’s begin! Under the pros and cons I’ll write my opinion and what’s game about.

pros:
- Really fun
- Rewarding
- Building system is awesome
- Graphics are stunning
- Crafting system is logical
- Updates every week
- One of the best developers
- Has plenty of weapons and items
- There are different building materials
- There is farming in the game, you can farm metal ore, high quality metal (you get really small amount in metal ore), stone that’s used for upgrading your base and sulfur ore that you can melt down using furnace ( same as HQM and Metal Ore ) to get sulfur.
- Has huge list of servers, some are hosted by facepunch, other are hosted by people
- It’s easy to host a server
- Shooting with weapons is pretty fun
- Weapons have logical recoil
- Weapons are easy to craft
- You can raid someone’s base using explosives (C4 or Satchel Charge) all tho they are hard to craft.
I’ll say that’s pretty much it for pros, there is a little bit more but I think this is enough haha! Now cons!
cons:
- The game is not great optimized for low end pc’s (It improves over the time)
- It’s hard to get started on official servers
- Some modded servers are laggy
- The community in game is 50-50, meaning half of players are not friendly and will kill you, half are friendly and will help you or just be nice in general
- It takes a good amount of time to get a base since there are a lot of players that will kill you ( although it depends on server itself, if there are more then 125+ active players It’s pretty hard to get a base )
- On most servers if you play solo you either gonna get killed by a clan or by a duo or trio
- Building mechanics are changing a lot which pisses off a lot of players
- You always have a risk of being raided by a clan and losing all the loot
That’s it for cons now let’s start write a little bit about the game itself!
Rust is survival, open world, fps and crafting game. You spawn on an island having just a rock and torch. Your goal is to start hitting a tree with a rock and stone too! You always carry risk of being killed by players with guns so keep that in mind! There are a lot of dangerous animals, but I recommend that you try to kill at least an pig. There are a lot of places where there is radiation so if you have no clothes do not go there! Your main goal is to get a base by farming tree and stone, of course you need at least a bow to defend yourself from animals and other players. After you farmed and killed couple of animals use your map by holding G to find a place to build a base somewhere! Do not trust anyone in this game, JUST DON’T! After you built your first base go to like gas station or supermarket to get some components since you need them for crafting stuff! Rust will give you different and fun experience from other games, you either gonna end up raided by a clan or raid with a clan O.o ! As they say raid or be raided, haha 😂!
