In my opinion, the best VR game that has come out yet. A true tripple A experience that has been entirely tailor made for VR. There are a few things that could be improved still (enemies act a little too dumb sometimes, selection of weapons), but I had a blast playing this from start to finish, shaking and squeezing every single little thing and rummaging through the environments. Valve's still got it.

Defeating rebel scum as Darth Vader filled me with a sense of pride and accomplishment.

Early Access Review
(Free key obtained during closed Beta tests)

GORN is a wonderful VR melee combat game. Killing your enemies has never felt more physical in VR. A great way of letting off some steam, but be warned: the trailer is not just a joke!

There's not much of a story but the insane amount of immersion and physicality totally make up for that. The game solves the issue of "waggling at the enemy" by having slightly jiggly weapons. This jiggle will seem strange at first but you'll warm up to it quickly! The game also features several wacky boss-fights which are one on one fights against fighters with distinct abilities. The game also features an endless mode to see how long you can last against an unending barrage of gladiators.

The developers pushed updates very often to the "experimental" branch during development and I foresee no change in this behaviour, so this game being Early Access will pay off in the long run.

Please give GORN a try, but be careful of your fingers, or worse: your controller!

This free title for the HTC Vive Virtual Reality headset is an excellent sneak peak at what AAA Productions might look like in the future. Its only about 7 minutes long but a must play for Star Wars fans.

Nothing can beat the experience of the Millennium Falcon landing right next to you and having a lightsaber in your hand. I don't want to spoil too much but reflecting lasers with that lightsaber makes you feel like a badass.

There are still a few downsides though, the Unreal Engine shows itself again with blurriness. Furthermore, you'll have to press a button in the experience, but the button was just out of bounds for me, making me hit the wall instead of the button. This is solved in the game though.

All in all, this is an excellent tech demo giving you a sneak peak into the star wars universe. I'll definitely add toys to my list of things I'll show people who are new to VR. Just don't expect more of it than a little cinematic demo.

Audioshield is good for hours of fun and actually a bit of excersise. The vibration in the controllers gives just the right amount of feedback and it makes you feel like a badass. Oftentimes I mix up the two shields, but that doesn't matter, I'll still have fun playing my favorite songs.

This was the first piece of software I tried in my vive and the first one to make me go "Woah!" At first I wasn't really doing anything in particular, just painting all around me and being amazed at what I could do. Then I loaded up a different environment and was amazed at the little planet I could paint around. Then I loaded up a creation in the gallery and was amazed at what these talented people could make. I reccomend this if you have some time to kill.

Robots have taken over the earth and the humans are out of a job. Now the robots have built a simulation so you humans can still experience what it was like to job. A funny and unique way to keep you busy in virtual reality for a while. The play space alters to your available space so you don't have to worry about bumping into walls. The tasks can get a bit boring sometimes but don't let that stop you from experimenting with all the things you're given! An overall fun experience to do in your room.

The lab is a Virtual Reality playground. If you've played Portal 2 it brings familiar faces and settings, but an entirely new experience. You'll understand what I mean when you try it. It's free, so you have no reason not to try it. It's an excellent game to lose a few hours in and test your new Vive.

This game hits a lot of Indie-game tropes that I don't like.
The art is poorly done, blocky and the textures are often stretched along surfaces. This is excusable though, since these types of games are often more about the story than the sights. More on that later.

The movement mechanic is horrible. You move very slowly which might have been done to prolong the duration of an otherwise short game. I also had trouble getting up some stairs, the character sometimes went very slowly, even more so than usual. The core gameplay is also dull, You find notes, read them, find a clue and input the password in a computer, rinse and repeat until the end.

The story is also nothing special and obviously tries to scare and disgust the player in strange ways. I felt like there were some plot-points that needed explaining that were never explained.

Overall, I think Fingerbones was frustrating to play and didn't entertain me or made me think. I would not suggest playing it.

Early Access Review
At first I wasn't sure about this game. Sure, I liked Roller Coaster Tycoon when I was a kid, but only with unlimited funds. Knowing this was an early access game, I went in skeptical and after the introduction wasn't very clear on how to actually start your prison I looked up a tutorial video on YouTube. After that, I was hooked. I stopped halfway through the tutorial to start making my own decisions on how to run the prison.

It didn't go well at first, a lot of prisoners had serious complaints and started rioting. Some guy died due to an overdose. I realised I had to start making some serious changes in my prison, I started doing a lot of grants (Sort of quests to make your prison better) and in no time my prisoners were well-fed and said they were being treated well. At this point I started worrying if I hadn't made my prison a hotel, but I was content.

It is, however, clear that this is an early access game. There are occasionally some bugs and some features are missing. I would really like to place some "sketch-objects" where you plan your objects themselves. Sure, you can place object-tyles in planning but I often forget which ones they were in the long run. At the very least, I'd like to annotate my planning.

All in all, I really do like this game. It's a great timewaster. Even though it has it's fair share of bugs and lacking features it makes up for it's in-depth gameplay, and it will only get better because it's still in early access. I would reccomend this game.
