over the course of 4 years, bungie managed to patch this game into a worse experience. Good content is removed, mediocre seasonal content and storytelling is added. Just give us a Destiny 1 classic.

I wish they'd make another Middle Earth game like this with no story. The Nemesis system is so good that it basically makes stories for you

The Halo community is wrong, this game is perfectly fine. Great little mobile-friendly translation of halo's mechanics into a top down format. Bonus points for using Bungie era sounds. Its just fun, especially on Steam deck

I love Managed Democracy

I cant tell if it wants to be Battlefield or a MilSim. It wants gunplay to be slow and strategic with fast TTK yet has basically a "kitchen sink" approach to its gameplay by including every modern game mechanic it liked from the likes of Battlefield to the Modern Warfare reboot.. What you get is a mess of a game that feels incoherent in-action.

Ironically this feels like Battlefield 2042 did at launch. No structure, flow or rhythm. This game became a sort of "haha modern devs bad, amiright gamers?" rallying cry but now the game has a fraction of its player population, most people have moved on and its safe to say that no.. I dont think this game was very good.

Its cool that it had a server browser and most of the features Modern games omit BUT it forgot to actually have a solid gameplay direction and thus, the fad is over and folks have moved on to other games.

If you want a brilliant Horde defense game. This is it. Graphics and art direction are still solid, production value is high and the maps are generally excellent.

Dont touch Multiplayer, it may not be safe to play and WaW/Cod 2 are better for campaign. Get this for Zombies

The Halo series will always be top tier. Great music, Great gameplay/Sandbox design, fun stories.

Modding is the icing on the cake. If you want to experience 5 of the best shooters ever made, this is a steal

Trepang2 suffers a bit from most fan projects which is an inability to sort of "know when to stop"

The game isnt quite sure what it wants to be. It uses FEAR as an inspiration yet plays more like Doom with massive arenas, crazy fast movement and somewhat out-of-place Mick Gordon like music.

When the Zombies show up, the cracks in the presentation begin to reveal themselves and the game becomes exhausting to play because it just doesnt have the pacing down.
