DRAGONS DOGMA 2

I had hyped myself up about this game. I LOVED the original Dragons Dogma. TLDR: I like the game. after baldurs gate 2 this really scratches my itch for an ACTION rpg.

MTX: the original had em. I didn't but anything then. Wont now. Its a *single-player* game. The MTX doesn't matter. the items in it can be found in the world fairly easily. The only Item in the store I would use are ferrystones and I have a stack of them waiting in my chest.

Combat: CAPCOMS BREAD AND BUTTER! oh it feels good. Simple yet you can do so much with it. 9 of 10

Graphics: I don't know what I did to my setting but I am getting a stable 60-70 fps I have never felt or seen a dip. I'm rocking a 7600x and a 3070 with 64GB of 6000mhz I play in 2k. Its not the beefiest of beefy setups but it get the job done. I still get NPC pop in which is strange but doesn't hurt my experience. Graphics and design are nice but not breath taking. 6.5 of 10

Story: I don't like how I have to press a button to make the NPCs continue what they are saying... @ 24 hours of game-play I am not that far into the story. I went for the run in that direction and see what I find approach. What I've seen is intriguing. 6 of 10

Exploration: 10 of 10 O man! so many hidden caves mountain peaks to climb. OH found an invisible wall...8 of 10... so danm close..

very immersive.
I love proximity chat.
Realistic maps taken from battle plans.
Realistic damage.
when you blow someone up they fly into a million pieces!

I am currently playing during alpha.

I have spent 50 hours exploring this map. Due to it being alpha I can only explore act 1 content. 50 hours, act 1. I am still finding things. That's amazing.

Pros -
Lots of content
Interesting characters and dialogue
Difficult situations but not difficult to the point its torture (looking at you dark souls)
The things you don't expect to work still work, (cant unlock a door. break it down. etc.)
Far more loot I expected from a D&D inspired game (magic items galore, Im excited about future acts and how the items will scale)
Graphically pleasing for a top down/Isometric
Cons-
Game crashes in alpha (wow really)
Multiplayer practically not functional
No druid class, no sorcerer class
Limited Face customization in creator.

Honestly, Both the cons are likely (crosses fingers) going to be fixed in the coming weeks/months.

Reallly Fantastic Park Builder. Extremely easy to add peer content with steam workshop. Greatly satisfying. If you enjoy the RCT Franchise this is a step UP. Rating S

People have said that the game is glitchy... But I do not know what they are talking about. worked great for me. Felt very Grand Theft auto...y. alot of great hidden gem moments when spying on people. PVP is something new and interesting.

This game is my goto game when others get boring. Large Mod community keeps things fresh!
