The combat and exploration in this game is probably my favourite design out of any ARPG. The story however is really bad and only gets kind of interesting in the "true" ending. There really should be some form of difficulty increase, because at a certain point in the game bosses that took a few minutes to kill now take 5 seconds to kill.

I honestly love the pawn system. I spent at least a few hours of gametime just searching through peoples pawns they made and deciding what composition I wanted to run. Every vocation feels useful and the game doesn't force you to use a certain "meta" because of it's relatively easy difficulty.

Although the game provides you with the means of finding interesting storylines/sidequests in the world it really feels like you as the player are making the sidequests which is one of the things I love about this game. Comparing how I found things/explored to others was really interesting and made me see the limitless possibilities of exploration of this game. Although the map is relatively medium sized, it is so compact with so many things to do at every corner that it leaves you wanting to keep playing when its 2 AM and you have school/work in the morning.

Overall I think there are sections of this game that the developers excel at, but there are definitely things that are lacking life i.e. story, characters, npc interactions etc. If you are looking for an exploration game that has a fun, diverse combat system with varying vocations (classes), then I would recommend this game.

This game brought so many different emotions out of me. Definitely recommend, this game is a piece of art.
