NBA 2K is a staple in my gaming wishlist.

It might not be the most realistic game ever. NBA 2K has its flaws, like most games. I only play offline, in the career mode. I'm not the best player, so I don't want to face people I can't beat, it's not funny for me.

The MC experience is nice. It's not awesome. The story of NBA 2K19 is pretty short, as you can expect from a sports game. It is still better than FIFA's or any other big sport franchise I tried. The AI is decent, even if not the best. Once you have enough skill points, the game is fairly easy and it's getting boring.

But until I get bored, I've already spent about 50+ hours playing. Between small games once in a while, videos, 2KTV, the neighborhood, there are plenty of ways to spend time in NBA 2K besides actually playing basketball.

For me, 50+ hours of good times is worth paying $60 every few years. Don't buy it ever year, it's not worth it. But if you can afford it each 3-4 years, it's a funny game and controls are easy to understand.

I finished this game twice.

I usually don't go past half of a game before being bored. Orwell is a short game - around 15 hours if you take your time. But it provides an experience worth the time. The more you play, the more you realize there are no good or bad guys. Everyone acts for a reason, you cannot judge a book by its cover.

Recommanded for players who like politics, critics about society, and who are interested in digging deeper than the surface.

Not recommanded for players who like to control everything, or are looking for a fun game with plenty actions to perform.

You run a call center, getting emergency calls asking for medics, cops, or firefighters. Some are real emergencies, some are fake, others are crazy. You have limited ressources. Who should get help? What's the priority?

As you reach higher levels, you unlock new vehicles, faster, with better capacity. Hire staff members, give them equipment, dispatch your team.

It's a fun management game. You will easily spend a couple hours playing, discovering new scenarios. After that, it gets a little bit repetitive. Answer calls, dispatch. Answer more. Dispatch more.

TL;DR : Fun for a couple hours. Repetitive afterwards.

Early Access Review
7 Days to Die is a great survival sand-box game.

Long story short: in a world full of zombies, you need to survive. You build a house, place some defenses, eat, drink, try not to fall sick. Every 7 days, a blood moon rise and zombies go crazy, destroying everything. You need to push them back, protect your house, and, well, survive.

The great thing about this game, compared to other zombie-survival game, is the diversity of gameplay. You can be a builder, not looking for troubles outside your house, focussing on building a fortress. You can be a farmer, planting crops to make food. You can be a warrior, raiding cities and killing zombies. You can be a looter, looking for stuff to sell to the trader. You can be anything.

There are also many mods for 7 Days to Die. Some add difficulty, others add buildings, crops, PvE content.

TL;DR : If you like survival games, building a house and killing zombies, get this game. It will keep you busy for a little while.
