Recommended because The Finals is another game...

  • ...where you are solo and your teammates will always leave.
  • ...with a pointless and unnecessary ranked mode.
  • ...with a Battle Pass
  • ...with Quests, Limited Time Events, and other Exclusive rewards preying on FOMO
  • ...that is a live service game
  • ...with terrible hitreg unless you live in an underground yurt in Antarctica
  • ...your friends avoid because they rather play a battleroyale, intensely role-play as a solider, or play another popular game cloned by Tencent

Not Recommended because The Finals...

  • ...could have changed the whole FPS scene with its fantastic concept and chaotic charm...and yet Embark continue to avoid risks, upset the norm, and are slowly gravitating back to being like every other FPS.
  • ...will likely be forgotten like previous arena niche greats, such as: Dirty Bomb and Lawbreakers
  • ...is actually really fun to play and that's not for everyone.
