Since the start of season 1.5, this game has been randomly crashing without warning, usually after about 5-6 games. I get a GPU memory leak error every time,I am playing on a 3080 with the lowest possible settings on everything and DLSS enabled. Not super enjoyable to be playing high ranked games, lose points, AND get a penalty due to random crashing. I should not be crashing as often as I am when I am well above the minimum requirements. Please optimize this game, its so fun when it actually is working as intended.

Played a ton of Morrowind throughout my childhood, but never actually did any quests because I found it hard to follow. I picked it up again recently with the intent of completing the main quest at least, and so far I have been blown away. The combat definitely hasn't aged super well, but it is intuitive and once mastered is really unique compared to any other game. It definitely is worth while to angle your build to what playstyle you want, and working on those skills to improve your combat experience. You're rewarded really well for just exploring the landscape, reading books, and finding things on your own, which is a bit odd to me as I am use to following a quest indicator. I suggest running the game with openMW to avoid crashing, and the ability to play in a modern resolution. If you enjoy a slow paced walking adventure with unique landscapes, a diverse questline with various outcomes, and grinding skills for more rewarding actions, you will probably enjoy Morrowind despite its age.

I'm willing to admit I didn't particularly care for this game during my first impression of it, and only really gave it another chance because a close friend really enjoyed it and spoke praises of it. After putting in a little time, I can say that I get it. I've probably put in around 80 hours in hunt pre-1896 and another 80 after. The game has a lot to offer, and fits its niche very well. The gun play feels good, the strategy is fun, and the lore and bosses are pretty interesting overall. The game could really use an improvement on the interface, as there is a million different buttons in your face after the overhaul update. Overall though, if you enjoy extraction shooter based games you should absolutely give this a chance.

Completed the game as a mostly good samaritan, doing the right thing and only stealing what I needed
immediately start an evil playthrough after to clap drow cheeks
10/10 recommend this game

Full of lobbies that force you into S&D with soyboy cheaters trying to relive 2009 trickshotting glory days. I do not suggest buying the multiplayer unless you are going in to grenade yourself over and over again to enrage them.

I've spent 1000 hours of my miserable life on this game now. Out of touch devs who released half polished DLC's with tons of bugs, despite being fully aware of said bugs. I hate myself thanks BHVR 10/10

While I deeply cherish all of the great memories that I have had on Rust, I can honestly not recommend it to any new player. Rust often gets a rep for being a second job, and that's for good reason. I've spent multiple weeks of my life up until 6am playing this game, all for petty rivalry and temporary loot (ultimately nothing.) Servers wipe regularly on a weekly basis (or monthly), which means you lose all the loot you worked so hard for. This mostly means that the player interaction is what will be keeping you engaged, and truthfully most of the player base is intolerable. I feel almost no joy anymore when seeing loot, or making a play, but somehow losing loot feels 10x worse to me. I honestly think I have done probably about every conceivable thing in this game, and PvP with players who are on regularly 100 hours a week isn't a blast to me when I am pretty casual these days. In the last year, I have also found the optimization to be pretty dwindling. I don't like the game this person makes me be. I don't like what it does to me. My honest advice to a new player, would be pick up another game. You can meet so many other engaging and welcoming communities, who wont shoot you in the back and take your 3 springs because "its Rust" and everybody learns somehow.

Run while you can.
