I love ARK. I have nearly 6000 hours in ARK:SE.
ARK:SA runs fine for me the game looks good, and the quality of life additions are really nice.
There is no doubt that I will put a lot of hours in ARK:SA too however there is one big problem: Nitrado.

Nitrado is a very incompetent company that gained the monopoly over official and unofficial server hosting.
Their server performance is terrible and their customer service is awful.
ARK is build by communities and Nitrado is ruining it for all those communities

Changed my review now that they've "confirmed" that you can host your own server

Immortal Empires is now in a good place

Has the easy fun of dungeon crawlers, skill and learning bosses (all have unique mechanisms) and some base building + PVP.

Overall they get pretty much everything right, could do with (as my 2 yo would put it) MORE. But i've played 94hrs and still 20+ from end.

No idea if it's a good game. I bought it to play with a friend, the game pass was withdrawn after a few weeks. Utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. If it was within timeframe i'd ask for a refund. Cheeky ♥♥♥♥♥.

1st, 6 party members. It's the right number! Interesting story, good use of mechanics, the alignment of good /evil actually has consequences and feels right. So far better than POE2 for me and also maybe BG3

Okay, since my last review they've done better on hitting release dates, so fine, yeah, go play, enjoy whatever, just stop leaving dead space whales on my door step

The physics of it is great and it really is limited only by peoples ability to create contact.

Played on epic before this, hence the 4hrs (at time of writing).

Solid tactical play and really feels like xcom of old (though that may still be better if they'd just remaster that ?)

Bought it, it didn't have any of the components I was looking at for my new build and so returned it.

Just does not seem to be updated with new parts, so if you're looking to build a computer in 2016 ........ go ahead
