The game feels and looks amazing, it has so much soul put into it, but Capcom had to come in and ruin it with your usual DLC greed.

•Performance issues.
•Single-file save with no way of starting over other than poking into the game files.
•Microtransactions that yes, they are *optional* but they still feel ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for a 70$ single-player RPG game.

There are better things to buy with 70$ than a game that doesn't respect your time or money.

This game has had the best release a game like it can ask for followed for some really rough months afterwards.
Nightmarish balancing issues, bugs and crashes pretty much every single patch and a lot of community drama thrown in too for good measure.

But with the balancing finally addressed and the game's vision directed towards fun it has never been a better time to join the fight.
Although this game right now is quite easy compared to before, the Devs will look to make it more challenging not by nerfing guns and stratagems to the ground but by adding enemy diversity, planetary hazards and modifiers.

The most cinematic coop experience is back on the menu!

As for Armored Core games go, I only really played Armored Core: For Answer and never finished it as a kid.
This game not only lived up to the memories I had from that game it made me feel like a child again, everything that makes an Armored Core game is still there alive and well.
Contrary to popular belief, Armored Core VI is a very welcoming Armored Core game, if you think this game is too hard think that Repair Kits have not always been a thing.
There is a lot of build exploration and customization to truly make a mech your own with no extra paywall between you and the Mech of your dreams, that on top of the ability to make custom decals just adds so many more layers and I've already seen some incredibly detailed creations out there.
It is not perfect and maybe a little bit too much downtime between missions but if you're interested in this game know that it will reward your efforts. I am probably going to be playing this for a long time in the foreseeable future

For me it was nice to see a franchise that I held so dear to my heart return to form exactly how I'd hope it would, thank you FromSoft.

Don't be me:
>high level security officer
>get an auto-injector (Thanks Doc)
>load it with booster chems
>accidentally using too many anabolic steroids during a fight
>get chemically addicted to them
>sh*t
>while on an abandoned outpost mission, withdrawal kicks in
>start actually dying
>oh f*ck
>beg Captain to rush to the next station so I can cure myself
>we get moving to the next station
>we run out of steroids
>i'm literally vomiting my insides from the nausea
>Captain does a joke about stopping to repair a station
>panik
>start a mutiny and handcuff the captain
>pilot the damn submarine myself
>Captain gets uncuffed and shots me twice in the head
>i fall unconcious at the medbay
>bleed out and die
>no longer i am addicted to steroids

Moral of the story, if you want to start a mutiny, kill the captain, always. 10/10 game.

Early Access Review
This game is a superb tank simulator with a gameplay depth but true to what it says, still prioritizes fun over tedious realism.
The sound design is incredible and the crew comms really make me uncomfortable as the tank crew progressively starts to panic the longer engagements lasts, it makes me feel a bit ill knowing that each shot I miss could basically cost my tank crew their lives.
If you are a tank enjoyer, you won't regret getting this one!

This game was right up my alley and I completely loved IXION.

•In terms of the narrative, it was absolutely phenomenal and gripped me from start to finish. It is a Space Odyssey, humanity is giving its first steps into interstellar travel but instead of tiptoeing into the lake nearby their house they just Bomba'd the ♥♥♥♥ out of the water and the subsequent tsunami caused by their fat ass caused Earth and most of humanity to go extinct. Now it is up to you to pick up the pieces scattered across the solar system and set off in a journey to find humanity a new home. Although the end became a little cliché, it did not ruin my enjoyment of the narrative one bit (I guess no space odyssey is complete without a wicked AI, huh?).

•In terms of the soundtrack by Guillaume David, the composer for WH40K: Mechanicus, did an excellent job and truly immerses you in the atmosphere of IXION from incredible awe provoking tracks like 'Pulsar' 'EMV Charon' and 'Aventine' to tracks that fill you with determination like 'No Turning Back' and 'Vanir's Legacy'.

•In terms of gameplay, if you've played Frostpunk before, you'll be right at home with this game. Difficulty wise, this game is pretty hard since there are several ways to just game end yourself yourself without even knowing it, so there is no shame in reloading saves. This game will ask a lot of you and you will most certainly have to reload a few times or even die from running out of basic resources, but I feel this is all part of the experience keep trying and you will find a way my best advice is to dedicate the first two sectors you unlock for Food and Industry then turn sector one into a big space port for improving resource collection and keep you afloat through some of the harshest events in the game.

•Performance-wise, this game can be quite heavy to run, especially in the later stages when all the buildings and environmental effects outside can tank FPS a little bit. I have an RTX 2060 Super, Ryzen 5 5600X and 16gb of Ram and I managed to play on Ultra settings just fine but the FPS drops and stutters became more prevalent by the end.

IXION is a 9/10 very recommended if you've played Frostpunk!

INDUSTRIA is a game that I'd really love to recommend but as it stands right now it feels more like a tech demo than a game.
It's a bit janky, the gameplay is minimalistic and most enemies are more or less pushovers that will relentlessly run towards you with only one real variation which is an enemy that will actually shoot at you from range.
That said it is sweet and short, the music, sound design and atmosphere are unsettling and moody, the weapons have some punch to them making the shooting experience a nice little treat.
If you are feeling like playing a walking simulator with some shooting elements INDUSTRIA might scratch that itch, what you see in the trailers is what you get. I hope to see more of these devs in the future but this game is not quite it for me!
