Simple in concept, complex in practice. Wonderful game where many systems can interact in unexpected ways. Find your FUN!

A great space flight game with an active community and dev team. Your actions influence the state of the galaxy and can be as important to your gameplay as you like. The Odyssey DLC adds ground missions to further expand gameplay with decent FPS and stealth aspects. Engineering and upgrading your ships and equipment leads to a near infinite combination of customization.

Update: Perhaps the game doesn't play well with overclocking, but after reducing my RAM speeds to stock I've had no issues. Not sure if this is hardware or software issue as the system has been stable for other games and workloads. But, this game now has my recommendation as a good one-off title from Kojima.

Previous Review:
Pros: Unique game, interesting story and lore, pretty graphics.
Cons: Constant hard crashes at Chapter 3, consistently <5min after loading in the level; meaning you'll be well outside the return window, but unable to play the game.

Recommendation: Can't find any information or others reporting these serious crashes, but many others saying Access Errors in later stages also crashing the game. I would wait until a significant patch is released or find it on another platform. 2/10

Fun puzzler with great philosophy studies. I loved coming across excerpts from materials I read in my college Philosophy of Mind courses. Ethical Theory, Philosophy of Mind, and the Arguments of Free Will vs. Determinism are all here and given in chunks that can be accessible on many levels.

This is an interesting 'game' and exploration of a person's psyche and struggles, and not always who or what you think. This expereience will definitely make you think and feel. And while this is a unique piece, I too, now feel like I have betrayed someone's trust, someone I do not and will never know. It will take some time to process the story and how to feel about it.

Play at your own risk.

EDIT: I rate this as 'Not Recommended' because I don't think it was ever meant to be seen by an audience. Beautiful otherwise.

Amazing game! If you like rockets and the idea of exploring a solar system with your own creations, enjoy!
