The era age and governor systems are really cool and unique additions to the base game. In addition, loyalty and emergencies are two interesting ideas, but may require fine-tweaking in the future. The 9 new leaders are a breath of fresh air, and are really what seal the deal for an already exciting expansion.

Amazing game.

The RTS genre is not a small one, yet this game still manages to be unique and interesting. It is certainly an example of a game that is easy to pick up, but exceptionally hard to master. The more challenging you want it to be, the game has ways of letting that happen. I have also heard good things about the game's expansions, such as Jupiter's Forge. I am a big fan of the multiplayer mode of the game - singleplayer can be more boring, and the AI definitelyt isn't up to the standard of other RTS games. To get the most out of this game, see if you can get friends to play it with you.
