This is a fantastic game.

It may have some issues, but the overall charm, aesthetic, and game play, all make up for them.

For Super Earth!

The single player campaign was fantastic. Throughout most of the game it felt like you were playing a boss battle, but you were the boss. The level design was creative and atmospheric and some of the levels felt cinematic. There was occasionally good use of foreshadowing and I often felt creeped out by all the gruesome details. I loved that the game play would alternate between "fight demons mode" and "explore mode" and it was clear when it was safe to explore. I think it might have been a bit too stressful without that. The plot and the lore were interesting for a fairly straightforward first person shooter. Overall, it was even better than I had hoped.
