It's got its bugs, and some of the mechanics are a little confusing. I was once stuck at a checkpoint because the checker kept asking me for my passport, which he was holding. I was also once stuck on a bridge because the vehicle clipped through the floor.

Most notably, though, I once accidentally stole from a gas station because the game glitched, which caused some...interesting consequences, both the intended trash-bags-in-trunk event and the (likely) unintended why-are-all-the-items-I-touch-disappearing effect. Honestly, I wish the game had a more diegetic reponse to the player stealing, whether intentional or not. Like, there could be cops that are waiting outside the motel room, or the checkpoint could fine you the way they do for reckless driving. Maybe the player could even get away with it, by luck. The way it's done now just feels like the game developer reaches their hands from the heavens and slaps you in the face for using a glitch, even if it was the developer's fault this happened. It's unfair and game-breaking.

But hey, it's early access, and for what it is so far, it's really cool. I'm confident the developers will iron these bugs out. After all, they seem to have a heavy focus on interactivity, which is very nice.

NOTE: My time should be 200+ hours more, but Steam did a do.

This is one of the greatest games I have ever played. No, this is not an exaggeration.

This game puts you at a modest start. You play a little and lose. You feel that urge to try again, and you lose...but not as badly. You keep going, and with every loss, you improve some more. You get better and better, farther and farther, until you finally reach the final boss.

And lose, of course.

But let me tell you. When you do first beat the final boss, you feel accomplished. You will likely only make it by a hairline the first time, but even if you keep playing, you'll keep improving.

And eventually...maybe, just maybe, you'll be ready for Normal difficulty.

This game is flawless. The music, the visuals, the gameplay, the replayability, the room for expansion...everything about this game is spectacular.

I can say with upmost certainty that this is my favorite video game.

I made a hobo, gave him a very small lot in the middle of the city, and filled it with dumpsters, benches, etc.

I had to get rid of the money I started with for a more authentic homeless feel, so I went to supermarket and bought 100 fireworks and some fish.

Lit the lot on fire with all of the fireworks.

Half the city came to my lot to join me in panicking about the fire.

Somebody died.

Celebrities were there.

Tax collectors took my recycling bin.

Went to Egypt with the money insurance gave me for burning down the dumpsters and benches.

Sold rotten fish to merchant in order to buy a tent so my guy could finally sleep.

I often hear people refer to games like this as "experiences". Well, then so be it. Even if it's not a game, this "experience" is certainly worth its price. I love the music and visuals, as I expected...but I did not expect any of its surprises, let alone expect to love them. When I first experienced the odd bird person thing, I honestly freaked out...but what that led to made my heart skip a beat.

Have your screenshot key set to "Q" or "~", because you're gonna be reaching for it a lot in this game.
