About the narrative:
The concept about character development using only rectangles is great... As a concept. The thing is, yeah, you have feelings while playing, but the feelings come from the narration... What happened to "Show, don't tell"? If there was no narrator and only with cubes you could have feelings, it would be an amazing game, but that does not happen here.

About the gameplay:
Well, it's usually fun when a new character is introduced with a new mechanic and when you have to solve puzzles. But later on, the game is more about completing an easy level than a challenging one, what changes is how tedious it becomes rather than how difficult. This game wastes your time.

Also, there are some bugs when you move characters against walls, and sometimes they don't want to jump... But hey! There is a "Restart level" option in the pause menu...

TL;DR
If you remove the voice of the narrator the game runs out of narrative (There is not much of the narrative built into the mechanics).
This game is fun and somewhat challenging at the beginning, but both the fun and the challenge disappear quickly and it becomes very tedious and repetitive.
