So I figured I'd try it since I didn't see any reviews, it's built with episodes, the first few episodes are pretty decent but progressively the translation (Or perhaps just the use of language in general) starts to deteriorate significantly and the story unfortunately goes with it. Events unfold incoherently, dialogue is confusing at best.. It's not worth picking up yet, it needs a few patches and it needs to rework the dialogue and events a bit, it feels more like an early access title.

Tentative yes based on a little over two hours of play.

If you like Persona, but with about 25% of the storyline and 10% of the production value.. You just need something to tide you over, or are just extremely bored.. Pick it up.

The reason I say this is because, the plot is like a book, except you're missing about 50% of the chapters and you're just kinda left to fill in the blanks, also movement outside of combat is very clunky, the camera is kind of annoying and the environments and enemies are very copy pasted.

Also it was apparently made by one person, so pretty impressive, hence the yes.

Apparently I'm not good enough to get past the 1st boss and the game doesn't make me want to get good enough to keep trying, the controls are not as intuitive or as smooth as older AC games. There is no tutorial apparently until after the 1st mission and I can't get past the 1st mission so, sucks to be me I guess. If you're better at this game than I am, you'll probably have a good time, if you have limited time to play games as is and you unfortunately need something that can guide you a little more slowly through the process of getting used to this game, then you'll probably get a refund, like I just did.

Pretty darn good, completed the game twice, taking a break from it now but this is the kind of game that I will revisit later and play again, and then a few years after that again.

The further I progress, the weaker I feel, you'd figure as a badass vampire that would not be the feeling you'd want to instill on people, perhaps I'm comparing it too much to Diablo 3, but I die in rather frustrating ways, feels like spawns come out of nowhere sometimes when trying to defeat a boss.

I play games mostly for the story... The story isn't great, to be honest it isn't even good, there is a complete lack of sincere character development, reasons and desires are shoehorned in when it seems useful to push the plot forward but personal motivation for characters is sincerely lacking.

There are major plot holes, I'm pretty sure swiss cheese has fewer plot holes than this game, and if you're someone who pays attention to that kind of thing, you'll likely enjoy the story as much as I did, which is to say, I really didn't. The puzzles are boring, if you can call them puzzles, maybe it's just the level design that's dull.

If you are buying this game because you want to get a good story experience out of it, then don't buy this game, if you're buying it for any other reason, well check other reviews because I'm not a great judge on that since I play games on the easiest setting for the story.

The game, bought on sale for $2.69 I played for 80 minutes and here is my review.

Half the time you run in to the same things, with the same dialogue and you can't even skip the dialogue, you have to wait until it appears before you can move past it.

Choices half the time make no difference and one option doesn't do anything more than the other option.

Leveling up is plain meaningless, every time you get stronger, so do the enemies and there is a less than 50% chance on most enemies to actually win a fight, the average I found is more like 40-45% to win and 55-60% to lose, no matter your level or your rank.

I usually go by a dollar an hour entertainment and I played this for longer than I wanted to, just to see if I would encounter new things.

I'd buy it for a dollar, it's not worth more than that.

First off, I believe bugs can be resolved so this review is not about bugs.

Where is the content, be anybody in night city, night city changes every body. Except it doesn't change anything about your body when it comes to augments or appearance. Starting to wonder if they forced first person because they had such lackluster customization.

First off after the initial customization you cannot change your haircut, I started with a beard only to find that any equipment I put on my face, has my beard clipping through it. Augments do not change your appearance, you get an idea of Adam Smasher in the prologue who is 99% robot and looks like the Terminator, but we can get some extra lines on our arms.

The game talks about faceplates, has tons of advertisements about customizing what you look, except you can't customize how you look.

No minigames, no interaction outside of quests apart from crime and just shooting people. The game looks beautiful but it's just empty. I was excepting a complete game, I would have felt better about this purchase if they had put it in early access and actually were going to add content. Right now it's a complete game, they say they're going to add things, but will they add things that matter?

It feels like the story was made for street punk, because you do not sound nor feel like a corpo after you start. And yes I know they said that everything would converge but that doesn't mean the person couldn't be different.

I didn't know a ton about Cyberpunk but I know one thing, it advertised itself as a game where you could be whoever you wanted to be in Night City.. Which is just not true, and that's why I can't recommend it, wait for a sale.

Edit after watching Edgerunners & Patch 1.6:
The new Edgerunners series really made me want to come back, they've fixed some of the smaller issues I had but at the end of the day Cyberpunk 2077 is still an empty world, the customization is still lackluster, they added one mini game, where's the drugs, the gambling, the degeneracy of Cyberpunk?

A lot of the initial points still stand, Cyberpunk over-promised and under-delivered, but I know that there's a large crowd coming in to it now without the expectations of people like myself who watched this game grow in hype long before it came out.

I wish good luck to everyone going in without expectations, I wish I was able to, for me it's still disappointing.

Wow, just wow, I came in to this not really thinking I'd like the graphics or that it was just another sex game, but Dr. Pink Cake, your writing and characters feel so real and genuine in so many ways. This story will be among my favorites for years to come.

Liam is the best bro anyone could ever wish for, more stories should be able to describe and make you feel what a warm and amazing friendship like that is like.

Let me start off by saying that I love Mount & Blade, but even in my bias I can't recommend this game. It doesn't even have all the features of warband in there yet, it has a few more options but there is not enough of the game yet to really get engrossed in playing it.

I suggest waiting, I've already played more hours than allowed to refund it, I am sure it'll be a good game in the future, it just isn't right now.
