A beautiful story, short but sweet, no matter which ending you get, there's a beautiful melancholy experienced. This is without a doubt one of my favorite visual novels, beautiful and tragic.

Doesn't seem to actually let you play a straight male, the story seems written to be female and treats you as such, not my thing personally.

EDIT: For anyone wondering, the store page says this:
"Play as male, female, or nonbinary; gay, straight, bi, asexual, or poly."

If you play as a straight male, you still have to get hitched to the King of hell, and he's definitely male, just something to consider if that's how you want to play, either way it's misrepresentation because if you want to play as a woman that's in to women, you can't do that completely either.

Needs a lot of work to be worth buying, the potential is there, the execution is rough.

A little dull, the weapons don't feel as impactful as they should, first time I felt kind of bored in a shooter.

Also, everything in the shop is exceptionally expensive, I wish we'd go back to when things were actual micro transactions.

This community is so much better than most gaming communities I have been a part of, I've joined games, been invited to discords, I now have a group of people I regularly play with, it is an exceptionally enjoyable experience.

Also, I figure every warship must have an endless stream of clones of your character that it keeps sending down under the idea of being a different Helldiver. So really, you're a semi-immortal being that keeps coming back no matter how often you get killed.. You are the nightmare of the bugs and automatons.

You've probably read this review a few times.

Great story that devolves in to straight up torture porn that completely defeats and destroys any meaningful buildup from the first half of the story.. Any care or empathy you felt towards any character, even the main protagonist just disappears, I couldn't finish it, the main character just devolves in to a one dimensional being despite having some nice development to get you interested in to the first half.

Don't buy it, it's not worth the money.

Excellent story, excellent writing, honestly a lot of these text only games often leave me wanting, either they're overly wordy or too short to make you feel immersed. This story actually does a great job at building characters and relationships, rather than focusing on a large cast, it focuses on a smaller cast, each with an important role.

If there was one thing that I could say I disliked, it was that it felt like the first chapter of a book, it leaves a lot unfinished and up to your imagination, as well as a lot of mysteries unsolved regarding the lore itself. This may very well be intentional, I have no idea, I have gone in and out of this experience blind on the developers plans.

Definitely worth buying though.

I am a huge fan of Sim Ant, if you're old to remember that game, and I have had this game wishlisted forever because I try not to buy early access titles... But I finally buckled and it is awesome. This is exactly what I wanted out of an ant RTS. I can't wait for the full release and I hope it gets to full release, but it has been around this long, even though the progress has been slow, it has been steady so I am certain it will get there. I also feel like the graphics will last the test of time, it has a clean look to it.

Bad game, more frustrating than fun because of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ physics and bad controls.

It's like if in Mass Effect 4, you didn't have Shepherd, that worked out well didn't it?
