It's good.

I bought this game because of the OP reviews and in particular @Chris's review discussing how this game is all about those of us with ADHD that grow bored of our cities after a while and end up quitting and coming back to the game months later to start fresh.

This game really does pique my interest and gently guides me to making bigger and bigger settlements after each generation.

The progression system keeps you locked in for just one more game and you end up finding yourself 12 hours into the game and loving every minute of it.

My only complaint about the game is due to the RNG nature of getting blueprints once you have unlocked a few it becomes harder and harder to get your colony started as you will unlock a blueprint for an advanced industry building but not be sure if you will ever unlock the means to produce for it until you get more blueprints.

I haven't found this to be a problem with winning just yet, but I assume on tougher difficulties it could be an issue.

Although the above feature does give the game a more strategic feel so I'm not quite sure how to adjust it, other than maybe weighting lower level buildings a bit higher while your rep is still low.

With that said this game is one of my favorite city builders ever and I'm looking forward to what is to come!

Just realized I hit 20 hours. I've had the game since Early Access but only put in a couple hours before I got frustrated and quit.

Was surprised to see 1.0 come out and figured I'd give it another shot.

Yes I got frustrated. Yes I quit again multiple times. But I kept coming back. I can't explain it. This game is just so chock full of mystery and revelation with absolutely no story to be told up front.

It's become my favorite lunch break game hand's down and after almost 30 hours in 2 weeks I'm not so sure it's just a lunch break appetizer anymore.

Highly recommend.

What's not to like?

Other than the new vbuck like microtransaction system. But for someone who rolls with a stock Octane for a fashion statement I could give a rats ass.
