Plot wise: what a downer depressing game, the plot is rushed, most of it is meaningless and dont get attached to any of the characters, nearly all of them die brutally or worse
nothing you do matters plot wise, just hitting the key moments to mechanically move the game along, not the plot, the game
i feel like half the plot was the developer talking up an entirely different game as if to say"hey if u want to actually have fun play my other game this ones a decoy" just shilling the crap out of it

difficulty wise: jarringly unbalanced, if you dont know how to get more party members right away everything kills the hell out of you, any era, right out of the gate. one area just has an "avoid ghosts" situation with 3 chances or game over, there are no saves in that area, and you cannot kill anything

mechanics: all over the place, different eras look and play differently, alot of guess work and exploring, and dying. i cant even begin to describe it. one segment of the game is just like "okay this is suddenly a date sim, first to 3 hearts loves you"
i know im not being clear here but take that as a "wth did i just play"

i stuck with it hoping it would get better, or at least have a satisfying ending, im jsut completely disapointed with this entire experience

This used to be a wonderful game, one of its best features was they didnt abuse FOMO (fear of missing out), everything in the game was obtainable eventually, if you worked hard enough

this is no longer the case, they introduced time based achievements to events, "you had to be there" ones. without time travel, they are now impossible to obtain, and will continue to grow. the staff have doubled down on this, saying they "fixed" the issue by hiding the unobtainable ones. sweeping them under the rug so players dont know how much they missed out on

this leads to players desperate to finish events that repeat anyway, because if they dont they permanently miss out of those achievements fear of missing out on them, FOMO.
thus they invest money when they normally wouldnt have, or shouldnt have, just to get it because otherwise they missed it.

the devs dont seam to see an issue with that. i find it disgustingly immoral to take advantage of. and im pretty saddened to see theyve stooped to it...

i can no longer recomend this to new players. you are starting far behind, in a race you can never win. to send someone into that would be cruel, avoid this game and hope other more moral games are out there

New players, go for it this is an amazing classic brought back to life, you will likely love the story and have fun. returning players.... read on....

they massacred the overhaul. even removed an entire class!
the original game was buggy, had obnoxious character choice limitations and very complicated story pathing

psp version fixed all that and while it had a few flaws, it overall was a huge improvement

then somone made this version and gutted it. ive never been so disappointed with a relaunch. on a side note the voice active is surprisingly mostly great, well done. but they could have done that without ripping out the mechanics

level caps? class removal? can only cast 4 spells, only use 4 skills? no cross class except for hero (hero DOES work, but you have to cycle the other classes to get the skills to show up on the hero), skill learning is a little buggy too sometimes you have to swap jobs to get the game to realize you were suppose to learn something

its like a reddit story where a work place works fine then a manager comes in with new ideas and the company closes from it, thats this mechanics overhaul.

story wise everything looks fine, they seam to mostly have rewrote a few confusing lines. no problems there

overall if they hadnt meddled with the mechanics it would have been perfect. if you are a return player from the previous version, this version may utterly depress you

kinda hard to rate this one
i didnt realise a few things when i got the game, like that it was pure talk to npcs and dungeon crawl. had alot of expectations going in, thought there would be more than 5 party members. hoped for character choice, be it classes or set characters swaped out. but even with that i still had fun, and enjoyed using the party i had i dont mind at all what i got mechanically. solid short game.

at first the lazy style writing was endearing, it was intentional, skip the fluff get to the goal etc. but then as the plot widened and twists were revealed, the parts not intended as lazy were worse, they were disappointing... confusing... and just bad. i finished the true ending with more questions than if id done the normal end. and just had this feeling of "what the **** did i just play"

im torn on this but gotta lean toward no. plots more important to me, and i ended the game unsatisfied and let down
solid mechanics just isnt enough for a game

cant really recomend, complete greed and RMT ridden, pure pay2win, free process can take years, disgustingly run, most of it behind a paywall. if you are skilled enough to go faster than they expect, it "cheat" detects you and resets your progress, really bad cash grab

kinda scammy and pay to win, but too addictive to stop. the actual adult content is boring as heck though and pointless

company running it gives off a real shaddy vibe. ive seen zero effort to fix bugs that have been present since i joined and well known in the community. its just a cash grab. events repeat. no new content, events are also drastically imbalanced where some nymphs get 4-5 events while others get 1 or none. theres little to no real reason i see not to reassign events to different nymphs other than not wanting to change some art. they are slowly adding the girls to "dating sim" but every girl has the same process, so they are jsst adding a questionnaire and a love
scene

holy crap this is badly programmed, i hit pause thinking id get a menu and it skipped all of the text, it wouldnt stop, tried every button. only to dump me in a walk around section with no way to access the menu in any way, had to END TASK to leave the game

the only options are volume. they didnt even add windowed mode, how?! how is it 2021 and devs still cant manage WINDOWED MODE. its heart breaking they can not even finish a game and charge 10 bucks for it

quite fun, plays like "long live the queen" but you dont die. some mechanics get tedius by your 3rd playthrough, such as a random chance of learning nothing for a day.

the plot on most paths is quite wonderful, i found myself fond of most of the characters(even lavina). found lotte to be creepy as hell though. fair warning, this story touches on the depths of despair. you WILL cry.

for those familiar with "a little princess" the overall plot is loyal enough to the story, some extras are different, and of course the girls had to have their individual plots filled in more. it does NOT share the perfect end seen in the film though


some spoiler advice:
ermengaurd and lavina have a time limit on their events, if you are trying to set up multiple routes focus on their needs first, becky will always be available in act 2, even if you ignore her route. there are enough days for 3 full girl paths, and becky if you did not skip weeks. but at act 2 you must choose a single path

you cannot loose though, if u reach the end without acomplishing a path, there is a default girl. and the game will go indefinately until you see her events, it will just go back and forth between week setup, and event choice, until you finish.

another incompetent developer that cant even add basic windowed mode. it it doesnt even have somthing that basic im not even gonna check if th rest of the game works, i cant fathom somone competent enough to make a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game but not competent enough to make it windowable so i asume the game isnt functional, ah well
