It is ok.

Played enough time to find out if it is worth to continue or not. Guess what? It isn't.

Let's talk about pros and cons.

Pros:
Questing is really fun, it is like watching mini theatre. Some of quests were so much fun, I don't remember since when a big story event was actually exciting. Story telling is good.
Graphics are realy good for a 2D isometric game. It looks really alive and pleasing.
Boss fights and encounters are fun, challenging and fulfilling. Some boss mechanics designed very cleverly.

However it isn't worth to play even with those pros.
So let's talk about cons and why those make this game really isn't worth to play.

Cons:
First of all, game is heavily pay to win. You need a special currency named "Pheon" to actually use Auction House.
Other than this, literally the items required for upgrading your gear are purchasable from shop.
Literally a whale can spend cash and upgrade his items while you grind dungeons and raids like you're working in a job or at least it would be like that, if upgrading items would be possible after certain point.

After certain point which mostly starts in Tier 3, upgrading gear is quite a chore. It requires abnormal amount of materials and it isn't something you can easily farm and collect due sheer amount of material amount.
And even after you collect for several attempts, you mostly fail after fail. It doesn't what % is written there. 20%, 25% or whatever. You will fail. Game literally designed to make you farm to upgrade.
And if you not upgrade you can't basically enter or join certain groups or boss fights.

Like those aren't bad enough, at some point of progression your upgrade percentage will be 1-2% or less than that. Makes almost impossible or quite hard to upgrade
And last but not least, I hated to movement of game mechanics. Why I have to use point and click for every damn move. Why WASD isn't thing or secondary optional? It is annoying.
At the end;

You basically play glorified mobile game with cool graphics while doesn't care your time at all. Just skip it and search for better MMORPG.

Since Update 100, Payday 2 is no longer pay to win game and returned its current state before Black Market Update. Micro transactions are DEAD. Finally no more sh**ty 505 Games.....

Game is really good, if you like play co-op with your friends or doing stuff solo and getting enjoy with stealth based games just buy it. Deathwish is challengeing who is playing hardcore ( especially Loud based ones ).

Grab GOTY edition if you can, price is really lower to compared to buy DLCs one by one. DLCs' are really good enough, they are giving you a lof weapon and perk deck choices to different circumstances.
