Chill and chaotic at all times, hidden secrets to find, satisfying leveling/looting, wish more games were like this.

500+ total hours in the game across both closed and open versions.

Pros
-Super fun combat/combos.
-Smash-like feels.
-Fast paced mechanics.
-Opportunity to face top players.
-Generally nice people in the community.
-High-Skill ceiling if you want to put your time into a fighting game.
-Fantastic connection even with friends in other countries.

Cons
-Player Population is non-existent. On a Saturday afternoon/evening, there's maybe 3 people on.
-No ranked matchmaking to encourage you playing with people of your skill level.
-You'll rarely find people of your skill level, mainly just get stomped repeatedly by the top players.
-Patches are slow to come out and feel like you're waiting on next year's DLC.
-Fun game modes like TagTeam were slaughtered and ruined only to be left in the game as a broken/crashing mess.

Overall this game had/has so much potential. It was the most fun I had in a fighter. When I first found it a year ago I spent every day grinding and practicing, looking forward to the weekly tournaments and just becoming a part of the community.

Download it with some friends for party fight nights or something.

Use to be a fun spooky game that you could enjoy with friends. Now its been changed into a horrible attempt of at AmongUs clone. Not fun, not scary, just boring.

Not even worth while free.

OVERALL, I'd say give the game a try. It's free so ♥♥♥♥ it. I was unfortunate enought to try on a day that the 1 server they have was ♥♥♥♥. Then my friend unfortunately ran into every bug you can experience in the first 5 minutes of the game. Hopefully it was just for us.

*Queue Time Kinda Fixed, Skip This Part & Read The 2nd Attempt*

Installed and registered.

Game started running and I'll admit, it was beautiful from the second it launched.

Logging in required me to wait a full 15 minutes, which I assumed was a queue of players. A little annoying but when I enter a game, I'm on for a solid streak. 15 minutes is nothing compared to the grinding session I'm about to begin.

I begin creating my character. While the customization isn't very extensive, it still offers a few unique mechanics that you won't find anywhere else.

While struggling to find a worthy name for my champion, the game suddenly sends me back to the Log In screen, informing me that I've lost connection. I check my internet and find nothing wrong. I had a stream running at the same time which was not interrupting, reassuring me that the error was not on my end.

I log back in.

15 minute Queue.

I'm a bit frusturated at this point.

This time I fly through the character creation. I no longer care about the toon because I just want to play the game after this unproductive 45 minute session.

I enter the the tutorial.

The game is running great. My movement feels smooth. A little different but smooth. I run through the first couple tasks and I'm about to make my first set of armor when I see a notification in chat that the server will be resetting. This is instantly followed by the complaints of other players.

Server goes down. I lose connection.

15 minute queue.

I have now spent 45 minutes of my 1st hour ingame WAITING to play a tutorial.

Game looks great. But somehow as someone who loves to grind hours away with stupid ingame tasks, I've lost patience.



*UPDATE*

Watched my friend play. He logged in after a 13 minute queue and experienced no server issues. He then experienced a few glitches I did not.

The tutorial mission stalled on him. When you're supposed to butcher the animal parts for its leather/hide, you drag the parts over to the butcher skill. He did this and received nothing but "Work Bench is not available" or something along those lines. Don't quote me on that.

I knew this wasn't supposed to happen because I personally had passed this part of the tutorial before being disconnected.

Before he could log out and endure another queue just to complete the first step of the tutorial, he found that he was rooted to the ground. Unable to move, jump, or rest. We sat there laughing about it until he lost his "fledgling" status. At this point another player approached him and started attacking him.

I watched as he calmly exited and uninstalled the game.


MORAL OF THE STORY?

Gave the game a second try, and the queue time was a bit shorter... But then the game glitched out.

4/10 still can't play through the tutorial without having to relog whether it be because of glitches or server restarts.

Friend bought me this game. Forced me to watch as he found 7 Legendary weapons. while I had none.

I'm level 48.

10/10 because it was free.

On a real note, amazing game. I just wish I could customize my character further with names and such. Aside from the RNG always hating me as usual, fantastic game.
