Unfortunately I can't recommend the game. It runs poorly on decent hardware - 5800x3d, 32GB DDR4 4000MT/s and a 6900 xt. It's a stuttery mess in fights involving more than half a dozen people. Especially in areas that are relatively compact. The amount of smokes, explosions, etc cause the frame rate to drop massively, even with most (I tested it with all as well) settings turned way down or off. Going from 150+ down to like 20-30 in an FPS is just not acceptable. It doesn't always drop that low, but often enough that it's a problem. The game can be fun, if it isn't congested and dropping frames.

If the game ever improves the performance or I bother to swap back to my 3080 and try it with that I might change my recommendation, but as for now it's a no.

TL;DR Laggy, frame dropping mess. Has potential, but needs performance improvements.

The game has it's ups and downs. I don't necessarily agree with a good portion of the "balance" changes. I'm glad that the PSN account nonsense was reversed. But overall the game can be quite fun. Chaotic, and absolute charlie foxtrot, but it's fun in its own way.

Won't let me spawn randomly in the middle of matches.

I love this game, beat it previously on the GOG launcher prior to the latest big update/DLC release. It's still buggy as hell, and crashes every now and then. But I enjoy the game, the mechanics, the characters (some of them anyway) and the visuals of the game. I'll beat it again and maybe attempt to do all the achievements now that I've been gifted it on my preferred launcher (steam) with the ultimate edition DLC.

I have crashing issues, regularly. I'm lucky if I can go a dozen matches without a crash. Even had crashes playing single player campaign - multiple times actually. Warzone - crashes.
I have a pretty well-speced pc, not sure if there's stuff on my end adding to the issue or not, but it's a bit ridiculous how frequent this sh*t is.

When I can play the game, I enjoy it. Enjoy it more with friends, but again. Only if I can actually play the game. It's a bit exhausting mentally to deal with it at this point though.

They took away 6 of the 9 skills for each character, which was whatever, but a bit of a bummer. They also completely removed the crafting. Again, it's whatever. The real issue, is that they removed duos. Why? What the actual ♥♥♥♥. I basically only play duos in most shooters.

The game is basically dead, they don't update it. The lobby's are largely bots, with only a comparatively smaller portion being actual players. There are also cheaters, though somewhat infrequent, they still exist.

EDIT: This game seems to be actually dead now. Launching it doesn't even get the game to boot up at all. Rebooting my PC didn't change anything, nor did reinstalling. Likewise the same occurred for my mate. He had the same issues and tried similar things and couldn't get it to work.

I hate it. I hate it so much. This game WAS fun, back in the alpha. The region locked items makes it pointless to go beyond the zone you have gear in. Because you go back to hitting 3-10 damage again. Making it a chore (and the long tedious kind at that) if you do want to venture outside of that initial zone.

I don't understand the thinking behind it, I wanted so badly for this game to come back and be great. But it's actually hot garbage in its current state. I wholeheartedly recommend you stay away from the game in the current state. IF and I repeat IF the game receives any updates and they change it so it doesn't nerf the living hell out of you when you leave a zone and/or bring back levelling and skill scaling again. Maybe, just maybe I might be able to recommend the game again.

So far, thoroughly enjoying this. It's very aesthetically pleasing when roaming and looking at the scenery.

Though like a lot of RPG's I get limited by the amount of loot I can carry, which is a probably as I'm a massive loot goblin and want to hoard everything until I'm good and ready to return to a town with a vendor to sell to.

When I tried to play this, sadly I couldn't get it to run for more than 10-15 minutes tops, after which it would just crash. I tried tweaking some settings and that still didn't fix the issue.

I'm running a Ryzen 7 2700x and a RTX 2070. It should run fine on my system. Very perplexed.
So in it's current state I can't recommend it, though the overall reviews seem to be positive, so I'm not sure what the issue would be exactly.
