This game really is fraud, right?

Pretty solid game, an improvement over, but also a worse game than PAYDAY: The Heist. It is also better but worse than PAYDAY 3. In PAYDAY 2, you have access to around 80 heists. It IS 84 heists but some has been removed for licensing reasons. (Buy a game key off humble bundle, etc. Or use a DLC Unlocker). A lot of the more good heists are locked behind a pay wall which is a heavy downside, that and a lot of the builds too. Because of this i don't REALLY recommend the game if you're strictly a F2P player, but i still recommend getting it if you have a friend with the DLCs or you just use a DLC Unlocker (no one will really care much.) But if you have the money and DO care about DLC Unlockers, then i recommend buying the base game, getting a feel for it and buy some of the DLCs. Preferably the Legacy Collection. But behind this gigantic paywall is a game with tons of replayability, difficulty and memorable moments with friends, randoms or even solo. It's been home to a few of my most favourite memories of gaming since i was a little boy. I highly recommend this game in general and the other 2. Yes even PAYDAY 3, despite it's current state. Just ignore the backlash and behind that you have a good, fun game with challenge if you don't use OP builds.

Also, for users on Windows 11, set the CPU cores on PAYDAY 2 to 4. A Windows update on March done something regarding CPU cores and it messed with some old games. Including PAYDAY 2. This leads to stuttering. By doing this, you are free from these stutters. Another thing for general newcomers is never max out the graphics. The game is 32-bit and not 64-bit, so the game literally cannot handle max everything which will lead to crashes, stutters, etc. Set Shadows to Very Low. (Huge FPS killer), graphics to low or medium and set the others to how you want. Mods are also very important as base game is lacking in alot of information. These mods (at least for me), has GREATLY improved my performance and enjoyment of playing PAYDAY 2.
