This game is a time warp!! I keep sitting down to play a session in the evening... And then suddenly the sun rises without warning! >.>;

This is a lot of fun!!

A little bit of UI confusion and wonky wording that makes some stuff unclear at first (until you know, you know?), but the feedback tool in game is amazingly useful and easy to use so I sent in feedback with my issues.

All in all, I am super excited for the full version of this game! :D

This challenging game sparks so many emotions and thoughts for me..
I am inspired to volunteer and donate more often and I am very thankful for the life that I have!

TL;DR Story Version:

I played my best session of this game so far, made a stupid mistake, died.. When I got up from the PC, went to open my window blinds and they decided to pop off their wall mount and assalt my arm, giving me a nice cut on my bicep. Wasn't anything a band-aid couldn't manage.. However, I already had a routine Dr. Appointment that day.. So I opted to update my Tetenus shot! Thank you NEO Scavenger!

After arriving home I got right back into it, wanting to see if I could catch back up to my previous success! I knew I could do it! I knew it! I finally found a good strategy that meshed well with the way I play games like these, and I was excited! Nope.. Mauled by feral dogs.. Didn't even get far from the starter area. Okay next one! Easy Peasy! Nope.. Someone was hidden on that city tile I entered and I didn't even see them before they bashed my head in.. Rinse and repeat, I felt like a blind, baby hamster, dodging an onslaught of flying fish, upside down, on Mars, with feather's tickling my nose!! Death after death, this game was punishing me and I kept going back for more!

Okay, so I needed a break and a snack, so the Hubby and I went out to eat. We blabbed about our current games while stuffing our face with salty chips and yummy mexican food! It was delicious, but got me thinking... "I wonder how the water filter is doing on the reservoir we keep in the fridge.. Did I change it recently? I also better make sure to fill it up with extra water today so we don't run low while gaming! It is Saturday after all!" ...We finished out meal and went to the store for a few things. This game still on my mind, I can't wait to get home to torture myself with more of it! ..So then I thought "I should buy Neosporin for the cut on my arm." And so I did. Thank you NEO Scavenger!

We made it home in one piece, I checked the fridge water thingy.. Made sure it was extra full and filtering that precious life liquid that I can't seem to ever get enough of now, and panic when my glass is empty... Thank you NEO Scavenger!

I re bandaged my cut with a nice glob of antibiotic ointment goo and accepted my fate of turning into a germaphobe who obsessively eats like it's my last meal, stashes the extra in little cubby holes, and never lets my glass get empty! Thankful for all that I have.. This little cut on my arm could have killed me! Thanks NEO Scavenger! <3

P.S. For those curious: I did finally get a new character as far as my best character! I had blisters on my feet, but I was finally happy to be back near my Anishinaabe friends! Didn't matter than I was down to 1 move per round, I was finally there! Safe and happy and warm and fed! .. Then shot in the chest by a Blue Frog guy and died a quick death! ..Oh well! At least I proved to myself I could do it again, and it gave me time to write this review that I hope at least someone can relate with and smile about.

P.S.S.. Hmm.. 03:06am isn't too late to start again, is it? NAAAAAAH!! ^_^ <3 Thank you, Blue Bottle Games, for a great and immersive experience! Rarely do I get to be this tortured, abused, and immersed by a game and keep going back for more!
