A delightfully goofy and chill take on the hidden role game. Won't necessarily occupy you forever, but these games never do. The variety of game settings to shake up your friend group's personal meta should give it more longetivity than the other choices, though ultimately Mafia / Werewolf is still probably more long lasting with its variants and options to be anonymous making a personal meta shift more. But you can play a game of this much faster, as it's closest relative in the genre is the most basic Mafia, with innocents and Mafia and nothing else special. But, you have to actually execute the game in real time, actually living a "town" style situation, doing short but charming tasks that keep you walking around to find the bodies and catch the killer in the act, if time is on your side. Or, having to actually sneak around and do the killing and escape. Great as a first foray into hidden role games or another game to put in your rotation when you just want to hang out and try something different when your group's choice game is feeling stale, definitely worth the pickup for even rare play at its price point, and you never know when you might join a community that loves this game.

You give away a couch play game for free in a pandemic and this is how the Steam community treats you?

I love playing Jackbox over Twitch. Is this my favorite Jackbox game? No. Is it worth the 10 dollar price tag it usually sits at? Not compared to a Party Pack. Is it worth your time to try with the people you like when you are trapped inside bored and you catch it on sale or for that matter FREE? Without a doubt.

If you can't afford a Party Pack and this is back at 10 dollars, I would recommend picking up Quiplash instead. If you want a Party Pack, I would grab one with Trivia Murder Party 1 or 2 but there are some gems and clunkers in all of them.
