First impressions are great. So far the only "complaint" I have is that the levels are far too short. Made it to level 5/7 in 30 minutes. If you're a fan of Star Fox, especially on the SNES, this won't regret!

I highly recommend this game, for multiple reasons. But, simply, I loved everything about this game. The art, music, colors, game play, cutscenes... They're all superb in my opinion. Sure, one could argue that the story is a bit cliché, but with all of the different aspects used to tell that story, I feel it's forgiven. The only real problems I've come across, was online multiplayer seemed to desync kinda frequently. In fact, we couldn't get past a certain point until we switched to local. Hopefully that was just something I encountered and not the norm.

Anyways, I loved this game and will definitely be on the lookout for anything from Hazelight in the future. To others that feel that itch isn't satisfied... If you haven't checked out A Way Out by the same company, while not bashing their other game, isn't quite good as this one, is still definitely worth playing. It's definitely shorter and more serious, but still a great game! Not to plug other developers as well, but if you have checked out both and want more, consider the "We Were Here" series!

After getting sucked in for 14 hours very quickly, I do want to start off by saying this game is great. I also realize it's being developed by a single person and is still in early access.

That being said, it is a bit repetitive. I'm sure there are big plans in store for the game, but one idea I had, as I'm sure others have had, that I feel would be great is simply: more ghosts in a single mission. To clarify, I don't mean more hostile ghosts, just more ghosts to mess with you, throw objects at you and even throw you off of the scent of the one that is hostile, your main target.

Doesn't even have to be every map, but some of the bigger ones, like the high school and asylum could really benefit, in my eyes. The only real problem would be identifying the non-lethal ghosts. Maybe have ghosts speak their name through the spirit box, or even write their names in the ghost journal, but then the problem with that would be requiring every type being able to respond that way, even if they originally don't.

To sum this up: great game that is genuinely spooky, but repetitive. I'm sure that'll obviously change in the future, though.

If you like hack n slash games, you won't be disappointed with Darksiders II. It plays a bit like God of War, but with more RPG elements, and the world is a bit more open, with plenty to do. The music, visuals and storyline are all spectacular, as well as the gameplay. If I had to choose one thing to complain about, is how they took away Lifestone and Warth Cores. While leveling up does boost your HP and Wrath, it kinda made the chests you find in dungeons pretty much worthless. Sure, they drop Gilt (currency), gear and sometimes potions, but most of the time you won't find any gear that's better than what you currently have.

A simple to-the-point platformer with great looking art, a good soundtrack and a nice storyline, with well balanced difficulty and gameplay. Definitely worth checking out!

A beautiful game with a beautiful story that has a bit of humor to it. Great music, sound and great pixel art. It's in the style of an RPG, but without battles. Anyone looking for a great story, that lasts between 3-5 hours for $10 NEEDS to get this.

This game is sort of like a 2D Silent Hill. It's pretty creepy for a side scroller, has some pretty good amotspheric music and a very interesting story. I'm loving it, and if you like survivor horror, you will too!

A fun, neat little beat 'em up, with some neat moves, nice looking scenery, great art, nostalgic music and a fast pace. Only real downside is it's extremely short. I beat it in under an hour.

Hilarious game involving magic and wizards, and what may or may not be a vampire.
