Rewriting my review: The game for the price point is a decent value, with devs that are quick to respond to feedback (They removed all DRM to both enable modding and ensure no performance loss a day before launch after the subreddit and twitter raised concerns.)

With a clear roadmap, and with the devs already taking popular feedback from a month ago, the game has a very bright future.

Well what about right now at launch?: Well while I do admit most of the content seems to be slightly barebones (Besides the awesome character editor and building mode.)

Still though, as a long time player of the sims, I think it beats Sims 4 on launch by quite a large margin, and im excited to see where the game goes with the constant free updates and modding support being added soon.

If you want more of a "game" perhaps wait until early 2026 when ghosts, pools, multitasking, and all the foundational stuff is added. I'm sure by then they can start working on tying all these game systems together.

As a Bethesda fan, damn was this DLC disappointing. I had high hopes for the first Starfield DLC, and while overall its a return to most of what makes Bethesda games fun (Side quests, unique locations, and a hand crafted map.)

No spoilers, but the lack of choices that actually matter is insulting. I mean here we are, a year post launch, and the dev's cant even make a punishment or unique ending that dramatically alters the universe. What's even point of becoming Starborn anyway? We can't get any answers to the universes secrets, and we can't mess up and make bad choices and alter them in future versions of ourselves.

This is just mid DLC for the most mid game bethesda has. (Fallout 76 is actually good now), and it just makes me sad how far my favorite developer has fallen.

A pretty decent game, although try to get on sale. Works pretty well on steam deck

Very good, the tutorial is long, but lots of unique mechanics are explained, so stick with it.

If you love half life or SCP stuff this game is great, its such a unique take on survival games. While you can fight directly you are rewarded for stealth and using your mind (sort of like Arkane games such as prey/deathloop.)

Highly recommend picking it up!

The game started without crashing, already off to a better start then 9/10 early access games.

Seriously unoptimized.

Hades + Vampire Survivors + Diablo.

Very fun, and it plays great on Steam Deck.
