If you loved Divinity Original Sin 2 and you love Roman history then you will love this game.

It is set during the late roman republic era but do not expect an entirely historically accurate setting. You play as a Roman Legatus, the story is well-written, excellently voice acted (every line of dialogue is voice acted), meaningful choices and consequences, and the combat is fun even with the lack of "magic" like in similar cRPG games.

The main issue I found with the game was during certain long battles the repetitive music although of good quality became grating after a while, a bit more musical variety in those sections would have been appreciated.

All in all, a true Roman game for true Romans. I hope we get more content for this game in the future.

Edit: The Legion Battle mini-game is also getting a rework.
