My all-time favorite game and I have been playing it since it released in the Orange Box.

Valve let this game rot for a long time but they came back and fixed it. I'd like to see some more QOL updates, especially for searching community servers, but Valve at least solved the bot problem.

Man I can't believe this game isn't popular. $12 for the best arcadey fighter jet game I've ever played. There's a nice variety of weapons although I see most people including myself using swarm missiles as a secondary weapon.
But hands down what puts this game above the rest are the awesome controls and ship handling. So intuitive and fluid even for mouse and keyboard. Double tapping strafe to aileron roll really gives you the extra push to maneuver through tricky spots, which reminds me that the arenas are simple but well made and functional.
I'd like to see this game go steam workshop for some star wars ships and arenas!

I absolutely regret not preordering this game. Simply subarashii!

I'm going to start with the ONLY flaw I've found so far, then it's all up-hill. It's just... there's lot's of typos. "Tripple buffering" in the options menu and I noticed many more in the skill trees.
But who the ♥♥♥♥ cares? Me obviously, but ♥♥♥♥ me! This game is awesome! Sugoi indeed!

All the relics from the old school era are here, like easter eggs, one-liners, and just pointless humor in general. When people say a game is fun what they mean is functional, because it's a game and games are fun. But this game is actually fun! I'm smiling!

And there's nothing wrong with a polished old school game, but that's definitely not what this game is.
DELICIOUS melee combat not possible in 1997 makes this one hell of a Wang Bang that old Duke's got nothing on.
Swordplay and gunplay flow extremely well together, and now we get Ki manipulation to go with it! It seems lifted from Skyrim, with one hand holding a gun and the other channeling Ki, but i've got no quarrel.
With all this talk of Ki arts I'd better see a Kamehameha in this game.

Final verdict: This game is worth upgrading my PC.
