The premise is simple: Spread Managed Democracy.

Players fight for Super Earth in a Galaxy where both the Automatons (Robots) and Terminids (Bugs) fight for planets. The gameplay itself is pretty straight forward, there are multiple mission types that range from ~10min to 40min. Helldivers drop in from Hellpods to various planets to 'liberate' opposing held planets. Players can unlock an array of special abilities and weapons, both free & a premium battlepass. The premium battle passes can be paid for with in-game currency that is naturally found playing the game.

Overall the game is fun, the loop is relaxing, and is a great game to play with 1-3 additional friends.
