Overwhelming customization

I got this game because some friend's and I thought this was the next big minecraft, this would be the new creative timesync that takes the Minecraft builder to the next level....

Unlike Minecraft, which is a fantastic game, Eco has absolutely no environmental threats. This game is the embodiment of never say die. This has the effect of making the game space feel very sterile and pointless. It is just a tech tree grind and though you can build some very pretty things, nothing gives you that spark or that sense of mild danger that minecraft gives. The mobs in Eco steal your food, which to be honest I was many many hours into the game before I even noticed that it was happening, it really has no impact and if you adjust the settings to make it have impact it is just a grind creator.

Eco is a fantastic start to a game but the dev team just isn't interested in creating anything other than a game that is to be played exactly how they envision it to be played. There is no comparison with minecraft. Which is sad because I too am waiting for the next minecraft. All this game needs is a health system, and the ability to host PvE, PvPvE, PvP and it would be the next big thing. I don't see the devs ever making this an option though, which is a real shame because the Legal system of the game could really be leveraged in a PvP system to create some really interesting game play.

Best purchase ever, it just works exactly as advertised. I want to buy another one. Please steam, make more of them. These are the best and simplest solution for being able to game in all rooms of my house.

Good game, Toxic community

Totally misleading advertising. This game shows graphics that are smooth, and cartoony on par with something like Hurtworld. Which I love, but then you turn it on and you get Runescape. I get that this is early access but come on, you can atleast have a better texture pack. I want to like this game, but I got a refund. This game is not worth the money especially if you can't be honest in your adverts. I will circle back in 6 months and hopefully they can earn my money.

why can I talk to hookers but not give them my money? Why does the game force me to beat a man to death for .50 cents when I have over $1k ? the morality system break immersion but the game is still good.

Imagine star citizen but if it was actually a full game.

This is the closest to space exploration any of us will ever get.

Progress really gives you the feeling of Eve back in 2016...

Fun game, not optimized. 90% of server owners are ♥♥♥♥♥ with over large egos, running your own server is a must. The game suffers from devs that want to be fun instead of stable.
