----DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME--- (A detailed review that might as well be a college paper)

1. (Devs are out of touch with the community and terrible at balance)
- I've never seen a dev team be so out of touch with their community. Everything that gets nerfed is not only incorrect, but they even choose to nerf the parts of the class that weren't even the "problem". Meanwhile, the main powerhouse classes of the game receive slight slaps on the wrist that doesn't change anything.

---(Talk about terrible balance, skip if you don't care and want to get to the real reasons to not play)---
Cryomancer & Deathknight have been powerhouses since day one, especially through an abuse of Life On Hit, a stat that replenishes Health Points simply by hitting another player, this stat has been begged to be removed since the first day of launch, and it has only been nerfed one time, which clearly wasn't enough. Other classes like druid were instantly gutted upon the first grace of the patch notes, recently, the Rogue was nerfed and the only problem was crossbow spam and Crossbow Damage, this prompted the devs to nerf their invisibility in 3 separate locations (Cooldown, Visibility, and ease of breaking invis), along with nerfing their movement speed gained from Dexterity bonuses (Hurting other classes too), *and* their interact speed was capped all in one patch, yet Deathknight didn't even get mentioned, and Cryomancer received a slap on the wrist that ended up hurting the other mages instead, touching on literally nothing that was asked for. Druid, a scouting and intel gathering class was nerfed to the ground and lost 20 whole points of movement speed, making a class that can turn into a panther run as slow as a tank melee fighter, removing their only chance to cleanse debuffs, and also increasing movement ability cooldowns.

2. (Unique items are locked behind timed walls, which is gated off by the elitist community who sells it for real profit)
- Unique items are locked behind global timers, meaning that when someone gets the item to drop, it can no longer be obtained by anyone else for "X" amount of time. The shortest timer is 8 hours, the longest is 20 days. After information of this got online nearly a week ago, players expected to hear a reassuring response from the devs, but we've been promptly ignored this entire time as they continue to add more items to the cash shop and make more incorrect patch notes.

- Players are selling these items through a use of RMT (Real Money Trading) and charging hundreds of dollars per item because they hold the timer. If they get the drop, they're the only person in the world that knows the next time the item will drop, and they repeat that cycle among themselves repeatedly. There are multiple discord among RMT traders that hound timers to gatekeep items and make a fortune.

3. ("Competitive" means spend money through Real Money Trading!)
The new "Competitive" mode "Clotho's Trials" is being dominated by RMT players with time-gated gear bought for real money that normal players have zero chance in obtaining. If you're ever lucky enough to kill one of these players in the wild, their gear will have a mythril dice effect on it, meaning that you won't be able to take the items and it will be returned to them. However, most of these players end up skulking around in the Team Deathmatch mode, where you can not only bring in your own gear (only much lower tier gear is provided to players for free), but you can't lose it in the mode! *How fun!* Further adding to this, players who go flawless in the new Trials mode, will also receive even more of their time-gated gear... Talk about making the richer even richer.

4. (Results of Negative Feedback, and power tripping moderators who attempt to remove negative comments)
- People are being banned on the steam forums for leaving negative comments, the reddit has been abandoned (r/Dungeonborne , I recommend you check it out to see how bad things have gotten at the time of writing), and you will more than likely become instantly banned from their discord for being negative or voicing your feedback just because you don't give them roses and chocolate with it. All of this negativity should be a wake up call but it's likely being ignored for being "rude".

5. (End Notes)
- I imagine it'd suck if this project was actually lovingly crafted by the devs and they really want to see it succeed, but as it stands, they refuse to listen to the community and after recent trade changes, have basically endorsed RMT in their game.

- No communication, no reassurance, only nerfs, broken dreams, ruined potential, and free hats to try and make you spend money on cosmetics. I wanted to have hope for the game, but I can't support developers who only see you as a walking paycheck, games (especially F2P) need money to survive, but that doesn't mean you can ignore your community.

- I recommend you skip out on this RMT Money Grabbing Scam and don't get appealed just for its pretty graphics. Who knows, maybe the game makes a comeback and it gains popularity, but for me and many others, the damage has been done and it's irreparable, and I won't be making a return. Couldn't you believe that I've seen all of this in only less than 30 hours of gameplay???

-Negatives: 90% Bots, Bad Skin Gacha, Some characters are apex clones, polluted by hackers, and it takes weeks of consistent play to afford a new character.
-Positives: Gunplay feels consistent, Fast-paced action, easy to learn tech, tournaments most days of the week.

-Mostly bots, Elo grind is a joke because of it. Farlight used to have an identity of its own but now they're "reworking" characters and just copying from apex legends.

-Skin Gacha is terrible because while it crosses out items that you own meaning no dupes, they also pad the number of items in each gacha by adding "Timed Trial" versions of skins that expire in a few days and the price of the gacha increases with every attempt, making it seem cheaper than it is.

-It's possible to get paid currency for free by playing in tournaments, last I played the servers would get DDOS attacked and then hackers would run through and kill everyone.

COPIED ABILITIES:
1. Yong - Has Seer's Tactical
2. MK.R - Has Valkyrie's Passive, Tactical, AND Ultimate
3. Sunil - Has Octane's Jump-Pad (No double jump)

I have a very small amount of playtime but that's seemingly all that's required to play, I would've appreciated a tutorial mode just to learn the basics, but it gives a good challenge to those that want to be thrown into a game blind without having their hand held through tutorials. There's some achievements that'll take time, and mastery of the game is required which makes it good for hardcore achievement hunters that want something rare. I think the game is quite fun, challenging, and you have a good song to play along with. Though runs are brief (My first clear was 4 minutes long), especially if you've gotten the combat down. I think that it's worth a shot since the download is 65 MB and it unpacks for 200 MB. It downloads in no time even on the slower sides of internet speeds and it's free to play, if you don't like it then you lose nothing, along with no forms of advertisement, in-game purchases, or anything of the sort. If you're even thinking about playing it, then just give it a try.

Hopoo has really outdone themselves this time, I highly recommend this game to everyone. If it's on sale there's almost no reason to pick the game up and give it a go!
